Onboard at K1 Speed Montreal

I notice you've driven K1 Montreal, Kart-o-mania Montreal and Action 500 Montreal. Which one would you say is the better karting experience? Looking to book one for a bachelor party and they all seem pretty similar. Thanks!

You can't go wrong with either one for that. I'd say for a better karting experience, Action 500's karts handle better and feel a bit quicker. However the venue at K1 is top notch, very nice facility. It would likely come down to pricing for what you want to do and location as well, since the tracks are at opposite ends of the island.

We're all novices so I think karts that feel quicker will probably be the best bet, and Action 500 also offers paintballing for $15 more per person than a 3-race GP at K1. I think I'll probably book Action 500. I edited my question to include kart-o-mania as well. Would you still recommend Action 500 over them?

@@craigbetts3048 Kart-o-Mania would be the best for a bachelor party! They've been in the business for over 25 years, they know how to make your event a memorable one! I recommend them 100%! Plus the proximity to the metro and downtown, you can't go wrong with that choice either!

Between the two, go to the one closest to you, they're more or less the same.

No you can't really take it flat without losing a bunch of time on the exits. I've went faster than what I did that day on another visit, but yeah, you can't go flat through there.

They're technical, and I'm not sure if it's the handling characteristics of an electric kart from the weight distribution or that the tires were worn, but it was tricky since it wants to understeer quite a lot, especially through there.

Yes, probably heavy battery and motor at the back. And the concrete floor is slippery.

Just be smooth, turn 1 is the trickest, it's a decreasing radius and if you enter too fast the kart doesn't like it. The rhythm section after is important to be smooth to get out of it fast, and the rest is about tight lines and again being smooth. It's a bit weird with the throttle, takes some getting used to, it's not like a gas powered kart.

KRBISSONNETTE what line do you think i should take through the first? do i clip the apex on the first half of the turn?
