Kasper Aaskov takes you for a ride in the second Race of the Tourenwagen Legenden in Hockenheim 2020, in his ex Alexander Wurz Opel Calibra V6 4x4 from the ITC International Touringcar Championship 1995/1996. Enjoy the Sound of the high revving 2,5l V6 naturally aspirated Engine. This is the first Race for that Car since 1996.

@@gtpics2359 in the future i am going to enjoy those kind of videos more than ever, because i have sold my calibra V6 dtm-edition. it is hard for me, to forget about that car, and the 90s touring-car-time, in which the vectra [cavalier] (do you know john cleland?) and calibra did win.

Definitiv kein 96er, da gab es keine Handschaltung mehr, nur noch Wippen (außer die beiden privaten Persson-Mercedes, wo die Elli gefahren ist)

wer sagt daß es ein 96er phase 5 auto ist? in meiner beschreibung steht 95/96. das ist ein 95er phase 4 auto, 95 in 4 rennen von rosberg gefahren. dann teils konvertiert auf stand 96 und bis norisring mit alex wurz. es gab nur 4 reine 96er phase 5 autos die ua. über das halbautomatische getriebe verfügten. diese bekamen reuter, ludwig, stuck und gavin. alle anderen calibras waren konvertierte chassis. als reuters auto in magny cours abfackelte musste gavin sein chassis an reuter abgeben und bekam dann ein konvertiertes 95er auto.

Ich habe Kasper dazu noch nicht befragt aber ich würde sagen um das Getriebe zu schonen. Die Opel 4x4 Getriebe waren sehr aufwändig und sind rare Teile.

Absolut richtig. Damals als die Autos von Reuter und co. im Wettbewerb gefahren wurden, hat niemanden das Material interessiert. Heute kostet so ein Auto ??? 500k. Und es gibt (vermutlich) keine Ersatzteile mehr, also geht man ganz anders mit dem Material um.
