I was stationed in a remote location in the Army. Supply NEVER had toilet paper. Became a running joke with my friends because I always have 300 rolls in the house. They claimed I had TP PTSD. I laughed and told them until you don't have it, you have no idea. This teasing has been ongoing for 20 years. LOL, I'm down to 100 rolls, was happy to pass it out. They aren't laughing now :) Glad I could help. My insecurities on it are starting so, when everything gets restocked, I'll start growing the supply again. Our stores are restocked pretty much except for paper products, flour and yeast. So, it's looking better. Looks like there could be some shortages in pork and possibly pet food. Reading the AG report the stuff going into the pet food chain (which is good for humans too) is being diverted to the human line. At the moment we have 10 dogs. Four full grown and a litter of 6 Brittanys. So, we stocked up.

I have been saying the same thing about the vivid colors. So great to see. Everything is brighter, crisper, cleaner, and I have a feeling all of the plants, trees, and flowers this year are just going to thrive because they won't be fighting all the pollution in the air this year. God will get us through this challenging turn on our path. He always does. It's wonderful to see the Earth being repaired and giving us a taste of what we could have if we just slowed down and reduced our pollution. Stay safe!

Happy Belated Easter! We have been ordering online for pick-up from my local Kroger’s weekly. We do go to Costco twice a month. My friend has been making cloth masks, I donate elastic and fabric. We are giving them to family neighbors and co- workers. Getting used to wearing a mask daily at work. My great uncle just recovered from Covid pneumonia. He is 90, a blessing he recovered! He is home on some oxygen. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks. He was going out to the stores, without a mask, even though my family was delivering groceries to my him and my great aunt. Everyone stay safe, please wear a mask and only go out if you need to!

Here is the situation where I live, we are in a very rural area of VA. We went shopping today for tp and other essentials and haven’t left the house in almost 2 weeks. We started out at our local small stores and no tp and no other food. We went to Food Lion and no tp and no food on shelves or frozen food or any eggs or dairy products. Drove to MD so we could go to Walmart and they had no groceries on the shelves and 1 little pack of tp. I really don’t know what people are suppose to do when they can’t buy food or tp. I realize your family is in need of tp more than I am but we still need it. We would have drove to Delaware to find food but they won’t let VA residents in. If people would stop hoarding other people could eat and get tp. Thank you for sharing 🙏🙏

I sat here lusting in my heart after all the dairy products and fresh produce you got on this haul. I cannot get out (because I am pretty much totally disabled...not because of anything having to do with this virus) and I have heard that if cans or boxes sit for three or four days it is then safe to handle them. Shipt does my shopping for me and delivers the groceries to my house. The last couple of times I placed an order I purchased only non perishable items and left the back of my car open and told the Shipt delivery person to put all my groceries in my car. Then I just let it sit in my locked car for four or five days before I bring it in the house. I feel that this pretty much eliminates any nasty little bug that might have been hiding on one of the cans or boxes. Unfortunately though this means that I am not currently purchasing anything that has to be refrigerated so I am eating only soup and crackers and sandwiches and oats and canned meat, canned fruit and canned veggies or other pantry items. My meals are a bit boring but I think I am limiting my exposure to this virus and that is a good thing. However, I am sure as soon as this is all over I will go hog wild and pig crazy and purchase milk and cheese and ice cream and MEAT and fresh produce to my little heart's content. In the meantime I will stick to tuna sandwiches and tomato soup interspersed occasionally with the few things I still have in my freezer from before we were all quarantined. I am hanging on to a frozen pizza as a special treat because I LOVE pizza but I have no plans to purchase another one until the self isolation for the elderly is lifted and who knows when that will be. I'm beginning to feel a little bit like Old Mother Hubbard!

Hi Amy! You are so right about how God provides. It is amazing to see how things work themselves out (even if you have doubt they will) and His timing is always perfect (even if you don't think so at the time.) We're a family of 4, I started watching you in October or November of last year and tried to imitate your once a month shopping. At the time I couldn't do it. The store sales were too good to pass up every week (that's how I shop), so I started filling up my freezer and pantry also with the intention of doing a no-spend month in January or February. Again I couldn't do it. We also received our income tax refund around that time and as I do every year, I stocked up on more groceries and essentials before going on spring break to Mexico the first week of March. We came back just as social distancing had started to be suggested in my state. I have been successful thus far in staying out of the stores and only shopped once in March and once thus far in April. Hopping not to go back until May. I have faith God will give us what we need to get us through this difficult time.

So glad y'all are enjoying the Southern weather. Meanwhile up here in SE MI it's snowing for the third day in a roll. Last week was more of spring and this week is winter.

Have been waiting for this grocery haul considering its a whole month since your last one and you have been a good momma cleaning out the old to bring in the new lol! It was, or looked, a lot smaller than your usual shops and glad you had the boys with you to help get in and out as quickly as possible in the current climate. TP has been a huge problem here Costco ran out but there does seem to be more around now, although they have hiked the prices up, and your limited to one pkt. Weather looks lovely where you are and its looks so pretty now. I bet you miss Colin but good he is doing something he likes and is safe. Good video Amy as always. You guys take care, stay safe no matter what it takes love to you all from Queensland, Australia ❤️

I have not been able to find/buy toilet paper since March 5th. It is mentally disturbing. No butt wipes either soooooo. We will do things the old fashion way. Forgot to say disinfectants are no where to be found since than either. That last day March 5th, I found the last lysol spray and havent found anymore since.

Oh no, that's awful. I hope you're able to find some soon!

Try Big Lots and/or Hispanic or Asian markets. I was in my Asian market a couple days ago and they were fully stocked on paper products and disinfectants.

Amazon has 9 pks unscented baby wipes for around $17 shipped to your door. They are no name but are nice wipes-Just do not flush them. Sam's has been the only place to have TP in our area weekly, but you have to go around 9am, because they sell out within the hr. I have seen dollar tree with some single rolls recently as well. Good luck.

@@CinderellaRein Thanks for the tips. I live out in the sticks and dont have a Sam's Club nearby. We will make do with what we have. 😊

I am so thankful for my whole freezer and pantry even after doing a low spend January and February I had been replacing what we ate from the freezer and pantry. I haven't done a grocery shop really since March 4th and then run relying on the kindness of friends and I did it instant cart order once and I once went to the store to get a few things but since I don't drive I've been relying on friends who message me saying they're going to a certain store and I'll give them a list from that store looking at their flyer so I'm not getting all the deals that I normally get but my grocery budget hasn't changed only problem is I'm getting less stuff for the same amount of food cost. So I am thankful for my pantry. Stay home and stay safe lots of love from Kanata Ontario Canada, 😘🥰🙏

Love your dinner pasta, salad and garlic bread delicious...you did so well with your shopping. Our supermarkets here have hand sanitiser as you enter everyone is polite and courteous, social distancing and hardly anyone wears gloves I just wash my hands with soap a lot. You guys in America are having a terrible time not at your place though. Keep well Amy 🥰🇦🇺
