You make the best caving videos. I know nothing could compare to actually being there, but I feel like you translate the feeling of being in caves fantastically.

When you called that "a couch" in camp 2, 600m underground, I really experienced an acute empathy for your redefinition of poverty! Reminds me of the Monty Python skit about walking to school 15 miles every day through six feet of snow, working 25 hours a day eight days a week at a cost of 10 pence, and the luxury of living in a shoe box in a pothole in the middle of the road. I almost shed a tear for you, but then I remembered that you're completely bats! Thank you for filming, and letting us all know!

😆 camped in cold cave, only rock to lie on with drips in face.... sheer luxury that was

Blows my mind that those guys climbed all the way up that shaft just to find old prints from someone else. Just how??? I couldnt imagine.
@KieranMckayNewZealandCaving6 жыл бұрын
It was a bit sad for Mike the climber. However the shaft still goes up and up. We are now over 140 metres off the ground and with lights that can see over 50 metres we cannot see the top. It is a very impressive and awe inspiring place. Going back there next week to continue the climb and will post a little doco about it :-)
