While Ze was claiming Sheriff in the coven game, I can't help but remember really early ToS. The Sheriff was the shot caller, invest was invest and was way more useful than it is now, the Jailor's role was basically used as a protector because everyone would call for them to protect confirmed roles. It was so funny how scuffed the plays were in those early days, but it's so...funny and memorable. And, of course, can't forget about the medium curse. RIP Medium, once the curse was lifted you were deemed to OP for your ability to talk to the dead

Yea I always hated medium in public lobbies, cause everyone would leave as soon as they died, so it was such a pointless role.

Massachusetts does have both Salem and New Salem, but the Salem Witch Trials took place in Salem Village, now known as Danvers.

Ah yes, Ze is always too dangerous to keep alive for long! Sometimes he's even a danger to himself, let alone the town, but when the chance to give him more power arises, I can also see why few resist from taking it, lol. Ze does need to work on his killing notes, though, since Chilled is so good at identifying them. I think he might need to pretend to be someone else in the lobby-Larry and Vik are always good choices, lol. Just like when he's Jailor, killer Ze is too powerful so he must go around disguised to protect himself! I also think Ze needs to be careful about speaking his roles aloud, because he's not always as quiet as he thinks he is, lol. But hey, adding more chaos into the games always makes things more fun, so thanks for never letting things get dull, Ze!

Oh hey, a video I'm early to! Suggestion for another social deception game: Blood on the Clocktower. It's a bit more long-form than Town of Salem, but there are several tweaks that make the game (in my opinion) one of the better games of this genre. For instance, roles are NOT revealed upon death, allowing players to continue participating even after their own in-game death. They even get one final vote to cast. (I had first mentioned this on the Discord over a year ago, but it got no traction, and I didn't want to be TOO pushy.)

While that sounds great, they would need a competent Storyteller to make the game close, and it would be way less fun if we could only see the perspective of a single person at a time **without** any Storyteller information on top of that.

All Any can get out of hand so fast haha. Either you're single coven in a full town game, or there's witches crawling around everywhere and you're just picked off one by one as town. There's hardly ever a really balanced game. But it does make for funny games sometimes.

i think the round with cursed soul SK we know the jailor died from the player they jailed has its the only one they visit so it means SK has a faction kills jailor even if they get a new role (or apple lost it that night and so killed before losing SK) and in that case when they lose there role they might lose the ability to not kill a jailor?

Now I want to know what happens if a Cursed Soul takes a Jester role (or if the Jester role gets to a Townie). Does the Townie/CS Jester need to be voted out despite not their original goal? Or would the original Jester still be the one to be voted out with a new role?
