Nice explanations ! Can I buy a blueprint for a weapon I already own and get more stars ? In my situation, I have the shrapnel Scar at 2 stars, but never bought it straight from the machine. Should I spend the 8k and expect enough "xp" to reach another star ?

You can, correct. I first got my Valor from a random pull, then I did the banner pull, and if I wanted to, I can still pull once more from the one time purchase non RNG shop if I'd like.

Nah, I got my Wildfire to 5 stars today. Fed the Jaws and Hammerhead into it.

how do you find those mod with high rarity subs? i keep getting 1 purple and the rest is low

They came from Pro Mode silos last season, and then Pro/Nightmare mode prime wars. I have a sneaking suspicion that Hard mode will give us better rarity spreads and sooner than in the last novice scenario, I'll have to confirm that though next week and the week after.

It does, yet only on the second and forth chest. The 1st and 3rd are tutorial bosses or something I guess.

Thats crazy, so status weapons are innately stronger. 'Special ammo effect' weapons like bounce gets fked unless u r just unhinged excellent like shrapnel. Why I say its fked? Well, status gets benefit from armor stars AND weapon stars, non status is only weapon star. As much as I find neat things about the game system I also find scuffed sht like this. Never have I find such an awkward design in a game before. Another example is having armour mods that is applied to both guns is nice, until you realize then it means only one gun can ever be built fully lol, yeah sure you can cope pair 2 guns with same effect doesnt change anything each gun is still unique due to the conditions attach to their description. And then theres also the first half of my comment, thats two thing so far. And what kind of building game doesnt have a basic right angle triangle for a 'floor' or foundation?

Bounce works off weapon damage as well just like Shrapnel. It feels weird because Fortress Warfare and Bullseye technically are weapon damage builds, yet your bonuses come from buffs, which just increase your damage per bullet, rather than Shrap and Bounce that have a weapon damage based special effect. Yet I do assume Psi intensity will scale harder in the long run. Because you get 6 pieces of armor that scale up, yet armor scales less than weapon damage too. Yet status damage won't scale as well off of weapon damage, unless you have a gun like jaws or corrosion that scales off crit which is a weapon damage exclusive trait typically. I am still irritated they don't have the square triangle foundation. It'd be very nice if they did.

Ok, you got something wrong. The shop gets a reset with each new season. If the same weapon will be available in the next one, you can buy it again.

The shop you access with the G key, the buyout shop with no RNG does not reset ever. Excuse me, I might of needed to clarify. The banners do reset seasonally, yet we don't know yet how often they'll actually reappear, which limits you to RNG if you want to do it quickly.
