i have my rain catchers hooked up to my water storage since u can have 10 max connected to it. so i usually have 9 rain catchers going to water storage hook up and then i have my pipe going to osmosis filter where i hook it up to another water storage or whatever you want to attach to it. love all your videos. very helpful. thank you.

They need to minimum double, maybe even triple the yield on player grown crops. Good yield (which is the best achievable yield as far as I can tell) only gives you 3 items and a seed back. I have to harvest my small farm twice a day, otherwise the plants die (I have a time ticker which I'm considering removing). I'm level 50 and have been for some time now and I've not really bothered with farming other than my current small experimental farm. I have 8 crop plots for beets to make sugar (and even that's almost a redundant thing). You can just go to the fields around Citrus County settlement and farm up about 50 wheat and corn, a bunch of potatoes and some beets, and then head to Meyer's Market where there's around 40 beets and a bunch more corn and potatoes. Make sugar with the beets, use the wheat and corn to make corn bread and the potatoes to make french fries. Do that every other play session and you'll have more than enough food to sustain you. And if you have the time and the inclination you can switch worlds and harvest all the plants in each world, you end up with hundreds of each crop. To even come close to that kind of yield in a player made farm just isn't feasible and would likely take more time to achieve because you have to spend time replanting and need to make fertilizer to get a good yield every time.

The reason why the container flows towards the rain catcher is because the hose is higher and water flows from top to bottom. Amazing they applied real world physics. Not sure if that was intended though.

yeah u just have to be in build mode and place ur curser directly over the wire. they are super tiny so it can be tricky sometimes but if ur center dot is directly over the wire or pips it should turn green and allow u to delete just like anything else.

So I'm finding that my rain collector has four slots of 1,000 instead of 100. Does this mean I'm going to need more water tanks?

not really because the water storage tanks hold up to 1000 per slot and there is like a dozen slots. so even if ur rain catchers r holding that much in 4 slots the storage container can more than handle it. and honestly by the time u reach endgame u won't even be using the rain catchers anymore, u eventually want to switch to automatic water pumps that run off electricity that way u can just have infinite water collection without ever having to touch it or rely on rainy weather. youll get all the water u need right from the ground 24/7 :)

seems as if the rain catchers are bugged, i set up as you said collector barrel filled up but nothing in 4 water out put slots and nothing in storage barrel. is it bugged or am i missing something

metal shelves was a random world drop blueprint i found. just gotta clear all the strongholds and stuff like that and you'll eventually get it looting all the chests most likely.

Whats the different between campact water filters and osmosis water purifiers? Only on week 1. And how did you connect pipe to water tank on the same ground level? I did build exactly the same, but for me it shows it goes from water tank to the filter

gotta use an electric pump to force the water in the right direction, also those two filters are exactly the same the smaller one just has less water capacity. the osmosis can hold up to 4 at a time.

No matter what I do....and this video is AWESOME but when I connect that water filter to the water storage...the flow is from the water storage to the water filter and not the other way around. I followed this step by step and that's the only issue I have. I even got rid of and built another water storage and it's still doing it....any ideas on how I can fix this?

trick with electricity is not only does the other devices need to be connected to them but in order for the total power to maximize u have to daisy chain each solar panel to each other. so try that if u haven't already. just connect a electrical cable together in between each panel and connect them all to each other first and then run one main line down from any of them after that to power everything else.

Sort of yes one way is declaring war against a war ands frontier territory. The other is waiting for an enemy player to pick up an echo stone. When u do that u automatically have to rush back to your base and defend it until the resonator breaks down the echo stone. Other players can attack you and try to steal it while that’s active

try using the soil instead of planters for more crops in a tighter space. afaik theres no advantage to using planters over soil. i could be wrong.

Planters are better because you build it with spoiled food. That means you dont need to fertilize crops.
