I know the graphics settings are little bit hard to see so I'll comment them here MAKE SURE: You're setting your native resolution to 800p or 1200p before starting the game! For 800p: I set the resolution to 1228 x 768. Graphics I set to middle. Render scale at 100. You can adjust this if you experience any glitches or hiccups For 1200p: I set the resolution to 1728 x 1080. Graphics I set to low. Render scale at 100. If you turn this down a bit it helps boost your fps. I like it at 100. It doesn't dip below 40 fps most of the time and the game looks really good on the legion gos screen. Also this game can really get the Legion Go running hot on full settings snd max TDP. I would make sure to run the fan full blast to keep everything as cool as possible otherwise your game will start to freeze up and crash your Go. Cheers 🎉

I have an issue where the camera keeps snapping back to an overhead view when running around and even in combat. Its kind of annoying

Hey I just downloaded the game on the Legion Go and I tried following every step on this video but I still can’t seem to get it to work properly. When it does connect. Some of the buttons aren’t there. And I don’t know what I’m doing on mapping the button layouts

Interesting. Have you tried completely restarting your legion go? Do you have any 3rd party companion apps installed that might be interfering with Steam input?

I can’t seem to get the controllers to work for me. I followed a few guys when I log into the game. It still does not recognize my controller. I think there’s a third-party application I can install as a alternative to get my controller to work, but I figure I might as well wait until the game support controller outlet.

When putting Steam into admin mode are you making sure you completely exit out of steam after? Also it helps to restart your device if it isn't working. There is a program called REWASD that you can download that'll work. I covered it on my channel for Tarisland but it'll work just the same for this game

The beginning just messed up my steam app where I did the administrator thing, how do I go back and fix that? Also, I'm trying to run this on a 1tb Lexar Play micro SD, because even though I purchased the 1tb legion Go and only have like 5 games installed and deleted things I didn't think I needed, I only have like 300gbs barely left of internal storage, but every game ran fine on this micro SD when I had it in my steam deck Oled

You'd just have to go back in and uncheck "Run as admin" within the properties of Steam I wouldn't run any of these newer AAA games on a micro SD card. The minimum requirements for most new games state that SSD is needed. That's going to cause all kinds of issues for you unfortunately

I am still so confused I think I’ve done something to my controllers by holding the left option/select button and the right bumper it makes the joysticks blink and changes the controllers input settings, I use a preset for the game under the controller settings and it still won’t work, it detects the controller but incorrectly, wouldn’t mind making a more detailed tutorial? Teaching me how to get everything to work fluently? I’ll send you 20 bucks lol.

Hey I have a question. I recently got my legion go and I was wondering how do you get your fps and all that to display on the screen? And if I’m running an external monitor do u recommend it running on 800p or 1200p settings also? Thanks man

First of all congrats on your new gaming pc handheld. These things are super fun to use! For your FPS question you've got a few different options to chose from. First and easiest option is going to be the built in FPS counters that comes with the Legion Go. Just hit your right Legion Button and it'll pull up a little quick settings pop on the right of your screen (If this isnt popping up for you restart your legion go) In the second tab labeled "General" there's a Frame Monitor option with a few different options to pickup from. This will display your FPS and some extra monitoring options as well. The second option will be to use Steam's in game FPS option. You can easily just activate this in the Steam settings. 3rd option is to download a third party software For your monitor question you can actually set you legion go to the displays native resolution. I actually use my Go on my 1440p monitor all the time. In your display settings make sure your setting the monitor to display separately from the Legion Go's display. On default when you dock to a external display it'll just be mirroring the Legion Go's display I'd also recommend you go in and update all your drivers. It'll help immensely with game performance and optimization

I also looked for it and it was coming up. And all the layouts I’m finding are for Xbox controllers and when I test it out on the game all the controls are super weird

@@Jninq if the controller icon isn't showing up. Then you likely don't have a controller connected to your PC. Make sure you have a controller connected via Bluetooth or wired. And also make sure you have controller support enabled in Steam settings

No not at all. You can do it all in handheld mode. I do recommend a mouse and keyboard though. Just makes things easier to navigate. But the little mouse pad on the right legion go controller works fine
