same i got 255 hours in it.. lol it's just so addicting and so good and I've played so many other MMOs, have thousands of hours in WoW and this game just fits my playstyle and things I enjoy more.

The game is overall fun. Kind of feel like the story is lacking a bit I dunno. Doesn't help that only a small amount of NPC's have voice acting which really throws it off for me.

it must be bugged as lots of these dialogs have voice overs in youtube videos but my experience is silent. I dont even hear music unless I ride the motorcycle. Everything worked during the tutorial intro parts but quickly broke in the short term afterwards. It's random, as for some players they don't have these audio issues.

I’m at 140 hours myself and am absolutely loving the game still. Thought it would get repetitive but it really isn’t, only negative for me is how soon the wipe is. The schrapnel socr build with the recurved crossbow and long axe is the best pve I’ve seen so far. I recommend checking out cookiestmonsters build guide if you’re interested. Scavenged the internet for days trying to choose a build and his had the best rating all around. Almost have it finished I just need 4 specific mods and the lone wolf shoes but my damage is going CRAZY already.

I've been playing and have old gear. I dont understand how stuff just drops like new gloves that I can put on immediately, and yet I don't own it for repair. Then it says like here is a sniper rifle blueprint drop but I don't see it listed in my intermediate gear workbench to make it. I think most weapons show up under the blueprints tab but the only option available is to fuse it which isn't explained well what that means. It seems to Fuse cost something with fragments which I imagine is a limited resource. I made the mistake to buy a fancy bed with my starchrom early on from the wish machine that I dont know how to swap over my old one anyway.

It is true that a lot of things are poorly explained. Whenever you loot a blueprint from the mystical crate in each settlement, what you are actually getting is a full set of blueprint fragments. As you noticed in your blueprints menu, you have to fuse them first before they will be available to craft in your workbench. The weapons you get this way will only drop once which is enough to make that weapon. When you get armor fragments from these crates, it is enough fragments to make 1 of the 6 available pieces of that particular armor set. Which piece you choose to fuse them into is up to you. If you loot the mystical chest from every settlement in a particular zone, you will get enough fragments to fuse into blueprints for every piece of the set. So as long as you plan to clear all the main overworld content eventually, don't stress over this part too much. Gear that drops from other chests fully built and equipable cannot be repaired. These items are mainly intended to give you a temporary better piece to get you by while leveling or to give you a chance to try out something that is otherwise locked behind the Wish machine system that you may like enough to save up for. If you are still leveling, these items will remain plenty usable until you are high enough level that you should replace them anyway, so again try not to sweat it too much. Primarily you are expected to collect armor sets from each region and craft all new versions (teirs) of them every 10 or so levels to improve your stats while working through the game. Even if you like the set bonuses on the gear you get from the first zone, you are expected to craft a better version to replace the old underleveled stuff. The fragment system can seem silly if this was the only way to get them, but it is also possible to get fragments from the Wish machine and often they are fewer than what is needed to fully fuse into a blueprint. However, you can either hold onto them in the hope of getting enough for a full blueprint or use them to enhance the star level of a piece from the same family. The "family" is the name that you can see under the picture of each item in the blueprint menu. Anything item that has that same word can use fragments of other pieces to level up their star level enhancing the item's stats. This enhancement is part of the long-term progression and thus should be understood, but not focused on in the near term. This game has a lot of convoluted systems, but hopefully all of that helped you some as you work through the early stages. If you need more help, definitely search around for more videos. There are more and more content creators for this game all the time that can go into more detail than can be covered here. And one last thing, you will be able to get 10s of thousands of starcrom during the season (I've gotten over 70k myself), so don't beat yourself up over a couple of misspends. It's part of learning the game. Good luck and have fun!

@@Shrapnel24 thanks this clears somethings up. I guess if I have something that I can unlock using Fuse I should just cash it in as I will be getting more fragments anyway. It's hard to understand what is a good special power too. For example my workbench shows a purple SOCR that has pulse or electrical damage which I think I might have earned in the gamble of the wish machine a while back. I didnt know what that whack a mole crap was. There is also a shotgun which has deadeye power. I know you mentioned shotguns were not working well wonder if a certain power will fix that in some other regard. Anyways I saved up enough starchrom to buy a weapon now. I guess maybe I should invest in a crossbow as my stock rusty one isn't anything special. I upgraded my baseball bat to tier 3 and that's my most powerful claim to fame. So atm I can craft that purple SOCR assault rifle maybe as tier 3 as I don't have aluminum ignot for t4 and perhaps use the wish machine to buy a gold crossbow with a power. I just hope that something here is retained like fusing blueprints or discovering ones will be unlocked post season. I thought someone mentioned that disassembling a non-owned gear or weapon unlocks its blueprint for said item. I am by season level 37 and getting my ass handed to me every time Manibus spawns over my head. Level 17 to 20 enemies take forever to shoot down with kam machine gun. It's silly as nothing else in game, not even the couple of boss fights puts me down as underpowered as I am. Manibus one shots me through walls. Thanks agin for the help I guess my other gripe is I walk around not knowing what I am missing out on. I never see anyone walking around for the 47.5hrs I put in. What am I working towards once the server wipes? Wish I had the quad bike unlocked at least. I did put the points in the skill tree. I built a fridge with no freaking power. Damn still lots to learn with little time left.

@@tomoprime217 First of all, I just want to be clear that I am not the person who made this video. I am simply a fan of the game that is trying to help. I can tell you're really struggling, but I commend you for sticking with it as it is a really fun game. It sounds like if you are encountering Manibus that you are already in phase 5 which means your season is almost over. You can still get plenty of stuff done if you want to though as we recently learned that phase 6 will be 4 weeks long. Phase 6 is meant to be a time to wrap up loose ends before heading into the next scenario, which unfortunately it doesn't sound like you are prepared for. Once this scenario (season) ends, you will have the option to sign up to do the next scenario, which will likely be tougher, or to do the one you are currently doing over again only with your story progress (and other things) saved. You will be starting again at level 1 either way you choose, but any blueprints, weapon attachments, mods etc. you have unlocked will still be yours to use in the next go 'round. That's the way the game loop is designed. My advice: First, seek out a couple of beginner starter guides to learn what game mechanics you are missing out on and get more helpful tips. Second, don't get the crossbow from the Wish machine as your next weapon. The purple SOCR you already have will be better for you and can get you through end game if needed if you use the right gear and mods. There are several videos on how to make a good build using that exact weapon, in fact. Third, after watching the videos from step one, decide how much you want to try to get done before the end of this scenario, but try not to burn yourself out. Because lastly, plan to sign up to do this starter scenario again with a more experienced approach and your existing blueprints and I guarantee you will have a better time the second time through. I played the last beta for a month straight, all the way to end game, and it was the exact same scenario we are playing currently and even though the content wasn't as fresh to me the second time, I had a lot more fun because I knew what I was doing and felt empowered to come out successful by the end, ready to tackle a more difficult scenario next time. I could keep trying to explain everything here, but it really wouldn't be as effective for you. For example, breaking down some dropped gear does give you blueprints, but they are not the blueprints you think. This is just another example of things that are easier learned by watching some in-depth guides. Trust me :)

My biggest problem? I love sniping but tried all weakspot build i can since snipers mainly build upon it until i saw THE ONE BIG PROBLEM: Some bosses don´t have weakspots... any solutions?

@@sandfordays on hard mode i encountered quite some bosses that have their weakspots protected by a dps check and since i focused my build on weakspots I got down before i could deal 10% dmg to the barrier.

might be late, but you can use the old huntsman boots(8k starcrom), a special gear that makes it that if you mark the enemy with the bull eye the next shot will be a weakspot, it is esential for the weakspot build

This game discourage alts. Alts take the spot of an active player on the server and since they cannot be deleted after use, it's permanent until the season end. Alts, as usual, are bad.
