I thought the line would be reopened to Mittagong Jct i worked many trains on that track when it was open.

I hope the upgrade go farther....the loop line is bumpier than car road that run parallel to it.

Is there double track to Buxton now? Or just new double track at both ends?

It’s a single track. At both ends there a parallel lines to enable the locomotive to run round the train.

1:58 "restore the loop line in its entirety", that would be good if true. There will still be the missing link from Colo Vale to Braemar with Braemar to Mittagong Junction requiring an upgrade. Time for the State to stump up and do the job in its entirety, use some of the Metro money and give the country something. NSW is not Sydney.

Why stop at Colo Vale it will be half a job go the distance to Mittagong.

Couldn't have that, traffic might be forced to stop at Braemar level crossing.
