@Zell dincht Why s it called Salvation? Not Probation then. It is God who does the saving, for faith in Christ and his work on the cross. For his blood bought us who believe, or do you contend that the blood of Jesus still isn't enough? Heb 7:25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Joh 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. Joh 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. Joh 10:30 I and the Father are one.” Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Eph 2:9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. To trust in repentance instead is "Unbelief", Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

@Zell dincht Tell me , can a dead man sin? Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Gal 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. Gal 2:18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
@Humilityismyaim5 жыл бұрын
@Zell dincht This covers the argument about sin in the body as well....Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Rom 8:3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,

@Zell dincht Your better off stating "I don't believe in saving grace" I like what I can do for God more satisfying to my ego, than to trust in Christ Jesus and his blood spilled for me on the cross." All your argument here is based on what Jesus said to the Jew under the law/ the circumcision. Rom. 15:8, Matt. 9:35, Matt. 10:5 And none of the Apostle to the Gentiles who declares what the 12 could not say as ministers to Israel...Rom_6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Rom_6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Gal_5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Once saved always saved is the only thing that makes sense to me. It separates a relationship from a religion. If you could lose your salvation, then it is just do's and don'ts again. That's why following Christ is so radical. I hate even calling it Christianity, because that is still seen as a religion.
@Humilityismyaim5 жыл бұрын
So right! Salvation is a God thing, and religion is a man thing. One is heavenly, the other earthly. Who can undo what God has done? If we are disobedient he chastises us, he doesn't cast us away. He is the ultimate loving Father. And Christ Jesus, the ultimate Savior, brother and friend.

@@rosie9650 We who are currently Born again of the Holy Spirit of God are now eternally saved, for the Spirit of God is outside of time and since our new Heart is outside of time, there's no *waiting* to have eternal life now. Eternal Life is every moment now for those born of the Holy Spirit of God. This flesh is in time, yes, but this flesh is corrupted and will fall away one day; it cannot be saved. It is the Heart (of the Holy Spirit within) that is Safe in Christ Jesus now and cannot be lost. Eternal Salvation is present for those Born of the Holy Spirit of God. 1 John 5:11-13 -- "And this is the record, that *God hath given to us eternal Life,* and this Life is in His Son. Like if I wasn’t secure in Jesus then nothing else in the world would matter cuz without Christ I’d be completely lost and without hope. (What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul) anyways, it’s always bothered me when ppl say that OSAS ppl just think it’s a free license to sin.... in my experience that couldn’t be further from the truth. For me, knowing that I’m eternally secure in Jesus makes me want to sin LESS and make more of an effort to be loyal to Jesus and fight against the the lusts of the flesh. I still mess up and sin (every day sadly) but knowing how loving and merciful Jesus is and knowing that I’m still eternally saved cuz of what he did for me makes it feel that much worse when I do sin and knowing how much grace and love and mercy he gives me on a daily basis it makes me want to be loyal to him. Trust that Jesus is who he says he is and that he did what he said he’d do ... every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is lord!

Could be that we can get salvation but if we loose it, it was all meaningless. And the other one will say, he who believes in Jesus will have everlasting life. What about the ones who believed and decided not to follow God? Or they will have everlasting life until when? Will God leave us once we deny Him? Jeff, right here. These so-called apostolic before think that it's possible for Christians to go to Hell. Here are a few scriptures to refute them, Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Jesus said I cast out none I lose none. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. If Jesus lost just one it would mean he FAILED on the cross, and you CANNOT JUST WALK AWAY. That once more means Jesus lost one, which Jesus said I lose none.
@jeffreyhunter49663 жыл бұрын
Yeah dude he would have failed the cross sacrifice. Tony Evans and Joseph Prince always teach that if a Christian could lose their salvation then Jesus's death on the cross was not enough after all. as long as Jesus knew that his death on the cross would be perfect, he knew that he could for sure promise eternal life to those who accept him as lord and savior. That was God the father's will. that's what I love about the book of john, I love how it's a letter to the churches. It's to remind christians of their eternal security in Jesus and it's a letter to non-believers to share with them the news of being a child of God through Jesus. Jesus is our everything. We are 'ADOPTED' not 'fostered'. The people who 'object' to eternal, unbreakable salvation usually do so because they can't bear the idea that God can and does save (and keep) people they don't think 'deserve' it. They have effectively become the older brother of Luke 15. God looks for reasons to INCLUDE people. Small minded 'religious' people look for reasons to EXCLUDE people. True grace is simply unpalatable to the religious, self-righteous mind, the mind that says "there HAS to be 'some' cost". Jesus is the ONLY cost.. you have to believe, and receive salvation, but having believed and received, salvation CANNOT be undone.

If you pick me up from the titanic and take me halfway back and I jump out of the life boat, then I was once saved but of my own free will, I have given up that salvation. We'll have everlasting life when we receive it at Jesus' return. (1 Cor 15:50-54; 1 Thess 4:13-17). *_Then_* we'll be saved . . . *_then_* we'll have eternal life, eternal security. That's why Jesus said we must "endure to the end" to be saved (Matthew 10:22) Meanwhile in this mortal life we have "the hope of salvation" - the _promised_ gift of eternal life: ▬ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9). ▬ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25). ▬ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13) ➔ Has someone led you to think you're already "saved" - done deal, locked in? Sorry, it's not true. Judgment is on "the house of God" - His church, His people - right now: ▬ "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17) ▬ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1)

In my mind I don't want to sin but still sin every day..

That struggle you have with sin is proof you have a new heart due to God’s grace. Paul talks about his worries for a church, not wanting them to be deceived away from the SIMPLICITY of knowing Christ. The gospel is very clear! For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Romans 5:10 Here are some even more concise, simple passages explaining what this gospel is all about: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that *Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,* and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 1 Corinthians 15:3-6 The death of Christ takes away all sins of believers, the resurrection causes all believers to be born of the Spirit, or “born again”. nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. *Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.* All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. 1 Corinthians 6:10-12 It’s clear that all of our sins are forgiven, and we still struggle, but we’re not defined by those sins. We find our identity in Christ alone. Of course there is discernment involved and many important choices we make in this life, but we can rest assured knowing our salvation is fully dependent on the SAVIOR, Jesus, the Christ who was raised for our justification, setting us apart for His own purposes.

It is not about the meaning of everlasting life. Every born again believer gets it believing in Christ.Every one, even the greatest sinner can come and receive it by faith. The question is can you lose it? You say, we cannot lose it. But what about Adam and Eve, did they had eternal life? They died spiritual and physical death. That proofs we can die spiritual as the prodigal son did (Luke 15:24). The problem is, if someone wants to work out his salvation on his own without the help of the Holy Spirit, he will lose. It is not about keeping the law, that is religion, and who wants to be saved by keeping the law falls out of grace. But what does it mean to hate sin and to stand against it and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling? The possibility to lose it should drive us closer to the Lord, because our security is in Him. Not to live as far as we can from the Lord, but to seek his face and to walk with Him daily, to be filled with the Holy Spirit continuously and repent quickly of sin, and the Lord will cleans us from all unrighteousness. May the Lord guide us in all truth and make us overcomers. God bless!

Most people never give this a thought. But according to scripture, Isaiah 14:12-15, Satan lived in heaven as a perfect angel with God and then became jealous of God and was cast out of heaven to this earth. He then will eventually be cast into the lake of fire according to Revelation 20:10, and will be lost for eternity. So my question is, what gives us, mere mortal, sinful man the right to think that our salvation is eternally secure and that there is nothing we can do to lose our salvation and be lost, when one of God's Holy angels, who rebelled against God, will be lost? Something to seriously think about.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Amen! I am a sinner! I am not worthy and have never been worthy. I am saved by my father's grace. I will always be a sinner and not worthy. But guess what? Ever since the day Jesus saved me I don't go out trying to commit more sin. Quite the opposite. I try to keep my sins to a minimum. And it's not even me but his spirit in me that moves me, that urges me to do that. I know I will never be worthy. I know nothing I can ever do will save me. And that's what he's saying. Jesus said that. It's not like I'm never going to commit a sin again but just because I know that doesn't mean I'm out here willfully trying to commit every sin I could possibly think of. I'm very conscious and aware of it. So the few vices I do have I repent and get on my knees for and trust that he will transform me. And trust that even if I slip up one day that he will save me. Because I trust and believe in his promise. It's that simple ladies and gentlemen. I think the problem is we keep trying to compare God to our finite minds. Our minds are not like his. "How many times shall I forgive my brother? 7 times?" And what does Jesus say? He laughs at us because we are called to forgive are brothers infinitely the way he forgives us infinitely. That's why it all boils down to that one commandment above all. Love God and love your neighbor the way you love God. Because if you took everything in this universe and crunched it down to that verse it sums up everything about God and what we are supposed to do here. God loves us. We are to love each other, discipline each other, help each other. That was always the original plan. Can you imagine what the world would be like if we lived like that? The millennial kingdom. That's what.

I have to say, I agree with your theology Andrew. But (and this is a big huge BUT) there will always be the opposing argument which says (and I'm sure you've heard it before). They use scriptures that seemingly "trump" or "override" the scriptures you just mentioned. They take these handful of scriptures and form their doctrine (which summarizes 'only those who endure til the end will be saved') while at the same time, you take your scriptures and form your doctrine of (once saved always saved). It's frustrating for all of us who are trying to rightfully divide the word of truth and figure out what it's truly saying. Help us Holy Ghost! Do we stand on the scriptures you're quoting and forget about the scriptures that they're quoting? Do your scriptures override theirs? How does it all fit together? Does one scripture override another? On one hand you have James 5:19-20 which says "My brothers and sisters, (he's talking about saved people here) if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins". What's up with that scripture? Death is a big word! Or how 'bout this one? 2 Peter 2:20-22 "If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (isn't that us who say we're once saved always saved) and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,”and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.” Help us here Andrew understand what you're teaching because there are so many scriptures that can 'seemingly' debunk this stance. Dare I quote another? 2 Peter 3:17-18 "Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen". What the heck? Fall from our secure position? what's that mean? I could go on, but there's enough here to answer. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I am sure that rightly dividing is recognizing what is written to Israel/ Jews is for them. And what is written to Gentile believers is to them. And only the Apostle Paul wrote to believing Gentiles/not Jewish. Christ Jesus was a minister to the circumcision as were all the 12. And so I couldn't help but notice that all the references were to Israel.

The burden of sin was bore upon the cross by the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who places the burden of sin upon a sinner to be saved is propagating a false gospel of self-righteousness. Jesus paid it all... and He died in our place taking the punishment we all deserve... Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through repentance and faith. God will not save anyone who is trying to be saved of themselves, He will only save those who know they need a savior and are trusting Him to be saved. The only requirement to be saved is to admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight (Romans 3:19-26) and to turn to Jesus Christ in faith trusting in His death burrial and Ressurection (Romans 10:9-13). You must come as an ungodly sinner to be saved. No one has ever been saved except the UNGODLY (Romans 4:5-8). God doesn't save the self-righteous, who are going about to establish their own righteousness (Matthew 7:21-23). We can only be saved by God's righteousness, which is through faith in Christ. Philippians 3:9 says, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

Who did God appoint as the expositor of salvation to the GENTILES? Paul. When you look at the scripture quoted that seemingly contradicts OSAS it is either from the OT, early acts, James, etc. I take my salvation doctrine from Paul. Romans through Philemon. Paul did write Hebrews as well, but it is to the Hebrews(as the title indicates)because he was sent to the Jew first, and then the Gentiles. Jesus mission was only to the lost sheep of Israel. Remember, the Apostles saw Jesus in the flesh. We have to believe by faith alone because we haven’t seen Him.

Believe the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. And you are saved. Ephesians 2:8,9,10. Grace is a free gift from God. Not of your works. And afterwards we SHOULD walk with Him. Ephesians 2:10. It doesn't say "must". Salvation is a free gift. Just simply believe. Fellowship is your walk, what we "should" do after we believe. If we do nothing for the Lord, we get no rewards or inherantance in heaven. Pastor Thomas Cacuzza's ministry explains it all so clearly. Verse by verse out of the KJV, not these modern perverted versions that started the same year as Darwin's dimwitted theory came out... OSAS is exactly what the Bible says. When you believe the Gospel, you're saved, you have eternal security/everlasting life. Now go out and serve God by spreading the Gospel and be like Jesus for your rewards and inheritances in heaven when you get there. Most of us will probably be there with minimal responsibilities, however, at least you'll be there. Read your bible, do what it says, have great rewards after you are judged by Jesus at the Bema seat/judgement seat of Christ. It's so simple. But many denominations don't get the contexts of our infallible word of God through the KJV. Sad.

Can a Christian lose their salvation? TRICK QUESTION! *You can not lose what you do not yet have!* The apostles Paul and Peter gave the correct perspective on salvation: it is something we hope for, to be received in the future. Here's Paul: ⚫ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9; Paul did not tell them they had been saved.) Here's Peter, saying "shall be" saved - in the future: ⚫ "But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they." (Acts 15: 11) In fact, Jesus tells us we must endure to the end to be saved: ⚫ "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved." (Matthew 10:22) We shall be saved - saved from ever perishing in death - when we actually receive the promised gift of eternal life at Jesus' return. Paul explained this in 1 Corinthians 15:42-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Short of receiving the gift of eternal life, we will surely perish in death, losing everything, *very much unsaved!* Salvation - eternal life - is a grace promised to us, to be received at Jesus' "revelation" or return: ⚫ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25) ⚫ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13) Justification and salvation are two different things, at different times In this mortal life we may enter justification; we will not be saved until we receive eternal life at Jesus' return. Paul wrote: ⚫ "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." (Paul, in Romans 5:9; there's another example of "shall be" saved.) "By his blood" a person may enter justification; "through him" that person shall be saved. "Through him" means through a relationship with Him. Remember Jesus' words about those who had preached in His name, and had "cast out devils," and had "done many wonderful works"? Jesus warned what he would say to them: ⚫ "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:23) Not only must we know Him: we must continue to abide in Him: ⚫ "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6) So, how do we enter justification? Through faith (Ephesians 2:8) that God exists and rewards (Hebrews 11:6) we may then choose to obey and "come to God" (Hebrews 11:6) on His terms: in repentance. For that we receive His promised mercy: ⚫ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30) ⚫ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13) So, what is the mercy promised in Proverbs 28:13? Our past sins will be blotted out: ⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV) A believer - a person who through faith has come to God, confessing and forsaking sin - has been "purged from his old sins" (2 Peter 1:9). Believers have "remission of sins that are past" (Romans 3:25). They have redemption - by grace - from the death penalty they had earned for past sins: ⚫ "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Believers have been "saved" (re: Ephesians 2:8) from hopelessness. They have not "endured to the end"; they have the "hope of salvation." They are no longer under condemnation, no longer under the death penalty they had earned as the "wages" of their past sins. That redemption was made possible "by his blood" as we saw in Romans 5:9: Jesus made His death available to cover our death penalty. The Gift of the Holy Spirit With past sins that separated us from God (Isaiah 59:1,2) erased, and no longer under condemnation, we enter justification, reconciled with God, no longer separated from God. Now we can begin a new life, "times of refreshing" in "the presence of the Lord" as we saw in Acts 3:19: ⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV). And how are we in "the presence of the Lord"? Through the gift of the holy spirit, given to those who obey and come to God in repentance: ⚫ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32) ⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38) Through the holy spirit Jesus guides us out of slavery to sin and into His righteousness, overcoming slavery to sin. This is how we are made ready to receive the gift of eternal life and to inherit the Kingdom of God. Creation is not finished: sons and daughters for the Father's eternal family are being created, right now, through Jesus. He is the potter, we are the clay: ⚫ "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Jesus, in Revelation 3:19) A relationship with Him ⚫ " . . . yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby" (Hebrews 12:11). ⚫ "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Revelation 21:7) We can not make the journey along the "narrow way" (Matthew 7:14) that leads to life without His help. And that journey can neither begin nor continue without our repentance, abiding in Him. Outside of repentance, we receive no mercy and no redemption; we will surely perish in death, paying our own death penalty. And outside of repentance, we can not be made ready to receive the gift of eternal life. For those reasons Jesus warned: ⚫ " . . . except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5) Peter makes it clear: we either come to repentance, or we perish: ⚫ "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). *Nothing about "faith alone" there!* Jesus told His disciples to preach repentance and remission of sins, not "faith alone," not "faith + nothing = salvation": ⚫ "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:45-47) All those warnings . . . We have free will, and it is possible for us to return to a life of sin, no longer in repentance and no longer abiding in Him. We've chosen sin, not repentance. In that case, we have "fallen away" from justification, no longer on the "narrow way" that leads to life. Once again we have sins that have not been blotted out. We've returned to condemnation. *That's why the apostles gave all those warnings* not to "fall away" and not to "fail of the grace of God." To "give diligence to make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10,11). To *"continue in his goodness"* or else be *"cut off"* (Romans 11:19-22). ⚫ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1) Here is a list of similar verses: ⚫ 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Paul understood he could possibly return to sin and be a "castaway" ⚫ 2 Peter 2:20-22 Even after knowing Him it is possible to return to a life of sin, and end up worse than before ⚫ Hebrews 10:26,27 If we return to a life of sin . . . ⚫ Hebrews 6:4-6 We can "fall away" even after receiving the holy spirit ⚫ Hebrews 12:14,15 We can "fail of the grace of God" ⚫ Revelation 3:5 and 22:19 Our names CAN be blotted out of the book of life ⚫ Hebrews 3:12-14 "if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end" ⚫ Colossians 1:21-23 "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled" ⚫ Romans 8:13,14 "if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. ⚫ Luke 12:45,46 Jesus warned what would happen to servants who returned to sin ⚫ John 15:6 Jesus warned what would happen to those who fail to abide in Him

If I sin as a child of God, then my Heavenly Father will rebuke and chasten me , just as any good father would (Rev. 3:10; Heb. 12:4-8), but He will not condemn me with the world (I Cor. 11:32). God has promised His children ETERNAL SECURITY. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (Jn. 5:24) "He that hath the Son hath life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." (I Jn. 5:12) I know I'm going to Heaven because God has already given me ETERNAL LIFE . I'm not waiting to receive eternal life-I ALREADY HAVE it as a present possession. Read the above verses carefully and see for yourself that eternal life is IN Jesus Christ. When I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, God placed His Eternal Spirit within me and gave me Eternal Life. As a child of God, I'm still waiting to see Jesus, to enter Heaven, and to receive my new glorified body, but I'm NOT waiting to be saved. (Heb. 10:14) "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." (Rom. 4:5-8) Have you ever heard the expression "Nobody's perfect?" That isn't true. In God's eyes, the SOULS of all His saints ARE perfect, because they have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation. Jesus shed His sinless blood to pay for my sins. He OFFERED Himself as a PAYMENT for my sin. He paid my sin debt because I couldn't. By receiving Him as my Savior, I am also receiving the fact that He has PAID for my sins and that I can now REST in His finished work, because my sins are GONE! My soul (not my flesh) has been made PERFECT through the completed Blood Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you can lose your salvation what sin or how many sins does it take ? YOUR works cannot save you ONLY the blood of Jesus. All of our righteousness is as filthy rags. SHOULD we, as Christians, do good works because we love him and abide in him? Absolutely, but our salvation is not contingent on it. GRACE through FAITH, plus nothing minus nothing. Its not about YOU its about HIM.

@@cyraxox7440 Typical easy-grace theology. Already "saved." Already have eternal life and can not possibly be lost or fall away. Makes you wonder why Jesus and the apostles gave all these warnings: ⚫ Luke 12:45,46: Jesus clearly warned what would happen to servants who returned to sin: "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." Once saved, always saved? Apparently not. We have many other warnings from Jesus, Paul and Peter. ⚫ John 15 verse 6: "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6) It's amazing to me that anyone could conclude you're still "saved" after being "cast off as a branch" and "withered" and "cast into the fire" and "burned." Simply amazing. Jesus did not say "once a branch, always a branch." ⚫ Romans 11:19-22: The apostle Paul warned that Gentiles, even after being "graffed" into the "vine," could be "cut off" the vine, just as the "natural branches" - the Israelites - had been broken off: "Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but *fear:* For if God spared not the natural branches, *take heed* lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, *if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."* ⚫ Hebrews 4:1: "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." ⚫ 1 Corinthians 9:24-27: The apostle Paul clearly refuted "once saved, always saved": he stated he could become a "castaway." Here's verse 27: "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." ⚫ 2 Peter 2:20-22 If, after overcoming sin through knowing Jesus, a person then returns to sin, "the latter end is worse with them than the beginning." "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." ⚫ Hebrews 10:26,27 delivers the same warning about returning to sin: "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." ⚫ Hebrews 6:4-6 It IS possible to fall away, even after receiving the holy spirit! There would have been no point in writing the next passage if it were impossible to fall away: "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." ⚫ Hebrews 12:14,15 We can "fail of the grace of God": "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;" ⚫ Revelation 3:5 and 22:19 Our names CAN be blotted out of the book of life: "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." ⚫ 2 Peter 1:10,11 "Salvation" is not unconditional, here's another example of "if" with conditions: "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." ⚫ Heb 3:12-14 Another "if" with conditions: "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" ⚫ Col 1:21-23 Another "if" with conditions: "And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;" ⚫ Romans 8:13 Another "if": "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."

@@TheBibleSays The security of our soul depends on Christ's righteousness, not our own. If sinning in any way could cause one to lose his salvation, then Paul would have lost his, because AFTER he was saved he said he was the chief of sinners. We get saved by God's grace , not by what we do, and our salvation remains by God's grace, not according to what WE do; we will be saved from wrath THROUGH him. If we can do something to lose our salvation then God failed and our salvation was not only dependent upon God's grace, but also upon our behaviour - which is works! (Doing works in the Lord's name is not definite evidence of salvation, we must KNOW him as our personal saviour) Salvation is a gift, not a wage, it is obtained, not attained . It never was deserved and never will be. If our safety is dependent upon our works then we are really saved by our works and must earn our salvation, which is a direct violation of Scripture and the truth of salvation by God's grace ONLY. A person who believes that he must work to keep his salvation, instead of work because he HAS salvation, needs to make sure he is ONLY trusting the Saviour Jesus Christ to take him to heaven and not Jesus Christ plus his good works; he needs to understand how to be saved and what salvation really is. The theif on the cross:" And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. Luke:23:42-43. No works there, its as simple as that. Jesus said : For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew:11:30. In God's eyes when we get saved we are perfect forever, justified (made as if we had never sinned ), and sanctified, as far as our salvation is concerned. We still live in a sinful body and still sin but these only affect our fellowship with the Father once we are saved. The Bible says that God WILL NOT impute (charge up) sin to a believer (Romans 4:8; 8:33; II Corinthians 5:19) and that includes ANY sin.

All Christians have the ability to fall into false doctrines and be deceived unfortunately. The Epistles warn us over and over again against falling for such deception by false prophets and false teachers. What would be the point of the warning if we couldn't fall into these traps? The story of King Solomon is a prime example of this. Solomon was still saved, still heaven bound even though he was literally worshiping idols. If an adopted child of God "falls away" and somehow gets so deceived that they would choose hell over heaven, then they have no clue what they are really asking for, as no one would ever want that if they fully understood the reality of it (the odds of anyone actually wanting that is probably so low it's an impossibility). God, being the loving Father that He is would not allow that request. As anyone who puts their trust in Jesus Christ to save them are saved eternally! The scriptures you quote are correct but it doesn't say you can't walk away from God. Because the man who puts his hand to the plow and turns back is not worthy of the kingdom of God. Also the seed planted on stony ground doesn't come up. The second comes up but is burned out and dies. Then the third thrives and survives. And your life story isn't everyone's story and some think you can sin and just ask for forgiveness at the end of the day. And they make no effort to walk away from sin. But what about when they die before night time prayers. Those people will stand before God for those sins. They're heart is not right with God and they think if they do their confirmation or are sprinkled they are saved and they can live ungodly and still go to heaven. Because God understands and i live in Grace. Because once saved always saved. The Bible doesn't say once saved always save that is man's theory. As long as our hearts are seeking God and doing as he asks we are in a saved condition. It's not over until you step through those pearly gates. And you can fall from grace. As little as keeping one tenant of the Law. You are deceiving the people. And most of the people stating that have not been born again. The book of Acts tells how to be saved. Most churches believe all you have to do is repent and your saved. I think the phrase is "Accept Christ as your personal savior". You need to seek God about your statements. You I believe truly are seeking God but the people clutching to that phrase think they are alright and are going to heaven no matter what.

The good news of the Gospel is that we are safe completely in Christ!! see Colossians and Titus,,, not only that but you are a new creation in Christ and you have a new heart ! Where & when can you leave the Holy Spirit? How far can you outwalk God? Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Paul said you are sealed to the day God redeems you. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. If God never leaves you or forsakes you, how is salvation lost? Salvation is never lost, if that is the case, Jesus failed on the cross. If you could just walk away, that means Jesus failed. Y’all, God is love, once saved always saved is not the characteristic of true love/salvation. The prodigal son chose to leave his father, we can choose to leave our heavenly Father Jesus, just like the prodigal son‘s father still loved him even though his son was living with the pigs, his father did not force him to come back, the son eventually chose to come back to his father, but some people choose not to come back, it’s a choice y’all, you can 100% lose your salvation, you can pluck yourself out of God’s hand, but God will still love you but if you choose to deny Him continually until your last breath, He will not force His salvation/love upon you. Jesus said, you deny Me before men and I will deny you before My Father which is in heaven, it’s the Bible y’all.

In general, the word blasphemy according to Merriam-Webster means “the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God.” Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when you take the true work of the Holy Spirit and you speak evil of it, attributing his work to the devil. I don’t believe this is a one-time thing, but it is an ongoing rejection of the work of the Holy Spirit, of over and over again attributing his precious work to Satan himself. When Jesus addressed this topic, he was responding to what the Pharisees had actually done earlier in this chapter. Here is what happened: Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. Matthew 12:25 And Jesus knew there thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall than his kingdom stand? Matthew 12:27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, than the kingdom of God is come unto you. Jesus IS ON THIS EARTH when he is being accused by the Pharisees of using Beelzebub to do his work, instead of the Holy Spirit. This is the BLASPHEMY Jesus spoke of. The bottom line is the sin of UNBELIEF! These Pharisees rejected Jesus as the Massiah. You are nowhere as bright as you think you are in thinking this sin can be done today.

False claim about OSAS. Knowledge does not mean saved. Romans 8 says 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. More Than Conquerors 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j] 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. there would be no need for these warnings to Christians if they could not be subject to them because osas says they cannot be. a man-made doctrine does not get to sit in judgment of God's Word. Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Heb 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: Heb 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. God's Word says it and that settles it. 1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway Gal 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. Gal 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Gal 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. Gal 4:1 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain Php 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Php 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. Luk 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. Luk 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Luk 11:26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first It takes the power of God to evict the unclean spirit to start with, but after time has been given by God for that person to grow and obey, and they refuse to do so, God will leave, and when He does the unclean spirit finds his former home vacant and ready for reoccupation and this time he brings some friends. Rightly Dividing 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Many claim that you have to rightly divide the word of God, but the problem here is that they use what they call rightly dividing to explain away or interpret away the scriptures that stand against the doctrine they have freely received from their church and or denomination. It is funny strange that only the scriptures that stand against what they believe must be rightly divided while the scriptures they use to support their doctrines are just fine as they are and do not need any rightly dividing.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves, At least 23,999 are false churches that have some false doctrines yet their congregations are happy and content to follow their church all the way to hell, if you can see and acknowledge this about all of those then why can you not look inside? because just like them you are convinced yours is the right church and all the rest are false. What a terrible thing that multitudes are going the wrong direction as the blind leading the blind and both falling into the ditch and they are all happy and content that their church is the right one.

@@dennishagans6339 Dennis, I do agree with you about the multitudes in all these denominations.. but mostly that they think they can get to heaven by their own works out of legalistic actions to try to keep their salvation or to earn their salvation which is completely incorrect.. it's ridiculous to think you can lose your salvation if you've been given a new heart and a new spirit and sealed until the day of redemption.. I want to let you know, I am not following a pastor blindly.. I've only most recently come to find Andrew Farley's teachings.. I studied both sides of the subject of eternal security agonizingly for over 30 years.. I visited and debated with priests, pastors, doctorates on both sides of the issue,, more than you can imagine! And I know the poison of legalism and the poison and sickness that doubting your salvation causes!! It's caused many a true good-hearted believer in Christ to have nervous breakdowns and even commit suicide.. the gospel is good news and I pray that the seeds of Grace open your eyes as you read the Bible through the lens of Grace and not legalism and performance.. then and only then will you find true peace and assurance in Christ..

@@jayheinz4624 what is bothing me is that there are so many denominations and ask any one in any one of them and they will tell you their church is the one true church and the rest are false, they all do that, and just by there shear numbers and doctrines it is impossible for all of them to have the right doctrines when at least one of their doctrines goes against what all of the others believe. yet fro the inside they cannot see any wrong in their own doctrines even though it is painfully obvious that the vast majority have at least one false doctrine. what bothers me is that everyone and his brother uses "rightly dividing" as a license to change God's Word so that the scriptures they are "rightly dividing" which stand against their already held doctrines are no longer part of the "all scripture is given by inspiration" 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. I fully believe that is not what God meant concerning rightly dividing that we would use it to alter/change/undo/ scriptures that stand against what we have been taught to believe by the tradition of man and yes calvinism is taught by tradition going back 400+ years. I am no longer using my trump card, as I just listened a message about covering sins. Jas 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. 1Pe 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. so I will no longer use that trump card that shows horrible wickedness being committed by the very people preaching osas. if you are curious just google evil baptist and you will get way more than you bargined for. but I digress that as far as I am concerned those sins are to be covered, where I am not bringing reproach on the name of Christ by exposing sin in the camp for anyone to see that would bring shame on my Lord by the non-christians who would see my posts. if people would read their bibles and believe them as they read, they would also believe the scriptures that stand against any eronious doctrines, once again rightly dividing is not a license from God to alter His Word to prop up various doctrines. we have a saying in Southern Alabama, "if it rubs the fur the wrong way, turn the cat around. instead of changing ALL SCRIPURE by interpretation or explaining away when there is tons and tons of scripture against osas, don't alter God's word to save your doctrine, instead reexamine the doctrine. it would take me many hours just to collate all the scriptures against osas there are so many., and all of them are part of the ALL Scripture that is given by inspiration of God, so that to alter them in any way is to alter what they actually say and mean, if God wanted us to alter His word He would have said so, but there are many places where He says do not add or diminish ought from His word, and what does man do? he comes along with his interpretations and manmade doctrines and uses rightly dividing as a license to alter Gods word that God has already told us not to do. here is the final warning about altering this book Revelation Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. alter anything in the book of Revelation at your own peril. the very first interpreter of God's Word was the serpent, "yea hath God said?" and then he lies to the woman giving her an interpretation of what God really meant, and since it was so successful in the Garden he has used it ever since.

@@dennishagans6339 Dennis, as I'm having my first cup of coffee this morning I am replying back here, and by the way ,,I like your cat saying!!👍,,I do hear what you're saying! and I also have experienced many churches thinking they are the true church or at least think they have theeee right way.. Ive also experienced several churches, community type churches that are focused on God's grace and helping the community and those seem to be the healthiest churches I've ever attended.. with regards to rightly dividing the scriptures, I also agree with you.. in a lot of cases that I find in the Bible such as in 1st John, Peter and Galatians ,there were those such as the gnostics that were outright trying to say Jesus never came in the flesh!! Or saying Jesus was never resurrected..? Also some that were not outright saying it,were pretending to be believers and trying to deceive True believers that were truly saved! As you may know Paul calls these true believers, Saints in Christ! or brothers, brethren or sisters in Christ!.. he never addresses them as sinners, because of their new identity, in Christ.. I believe this is the true warning that Paul and John and Peter and James were giving,,to say that this is another gospel a false gospel the gnostics are preaching!! And I believe they say,, have nothing to do with them?.... I know once saved always saved can be hard to grasp, especially for those that were raised very strict or had a strict parent and even those who are raised in legalistic and abusive churches..Dennis, let me ask you to maybe try a experiment sometime!???,, just for a while ,,try to read the scriptures and passages and whole chapters with the eyes that of once saved always saved.. eternally secure eyes.. no !,,I'm not asking you to believe it ,,I'm just saying, read it as an experiment and see what you see,,.. see how it looks through those eyes? I do appreciate visiting with you Dennis !!have a blessed day!

All these preachers nowdays seem like salesman, so its gonna be hard to trust any of them and stick to bible, alltho for me new baby christian is hard to understand the bible, yet I fallen lot into these deliverance ministry, works based salvation, then the other side are free grocers and soo..pick your side. And the debate and fight they have with eachother :O ...It makes very confusing

Not a good analogy sir...you can't be unborn but you can die. Correct... Jesus does say he'll never leave you or forsake you..amen.. HOWEVER..you can leave or forsake Jesus can you not.

We all die once, if saved, if not, you die twice. How can you leave God when sealed by the Holy Spirit, before you answer, LOOK UP what the attributes of the Holy Spirit are.

Horrible heresy (try to read Hebrew 6)
@GodsTruthMinistries5 жыл бұрын
You are wrong. Read Hebrews in it's whole and the rest of the biblical narrative. If you don't believe Christ's promise of everlasting LIFE you are not believing his promise of it to those who believe in him. Did you even listen to the video? By not believing in eternal security you are calling Christ a liar. That sir, is a sin you need to repent of.

@@GodsTruthMinistries no, i'm not wrong. He's mistranslating Hebrew 10:14, the terme εἰς τὸ διηνεκὲς isn't meaning forever, it's meaning CONTINUOUSLY. The sanctification is a complex process with back and forth, not a moment. The salvation happens or not at the end. It's not up to you and you know nothing about it. Nowhere it's written your salvation is granted by a clear moment, during God let you know you're saved. This is crazy. Besides that, accept it or not, but Hebrew 6 states PLAINLY and CLEARLY you can loose your salvific grace once you have it. Period. Osas is destroyed. The method of proties is just horrible. You're interfering with your human logic in the scriptures to make its simpliest as possible to lead ppl to heresy. You should try to read a church father someday. They had the skills to explain you the scriptures.

Instead of reading the "church fathers" you should try reading and believing the Bible some day.

"Human Logic", huh? "Church Fathers", huh? Yeah, right. Human logic and church fathers are so much more knowledgeable than GOD. (NOT)
