I always thought Portis was a gamer. He left it all on the field. One thing I will always remember at a Redskins game: Portis busted a big run and after the play, he gave each of his offensive linemen a head-butt. They never showed that on TV, but we all saw it. Also, his love and respect for Sean Taylor is admirable.

Clinton Portis is probably one of the best men and role models I grew up with! He honestly probably did the best thing for his body and longevity by retiring at 30. As a life long washington fan, Portis, I respected everything you did for our team and I also miss Sean very much. I am very saddended that you lost the love for the game because the “leaders” of of our organization would decide to move Seans locker away, which is typical boneheaded move by incompetent leaders of Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen. Im sorry you played for a petty heartless owner and incompetent president. You and Sean and all the past and current players deserve better than how you guys were treated. God dam Shay...straight up calling Portis lazy and undisciplined. Crazy part is I 100% agree. Can always count on Shannon to say the truth. Side note to Portis...you just said you did nothing to improve but said you did everything you could. Lol. I thought Shay was about fall out.

My favorite story is when Jamal Lewis worked out with Ray Lewis in the off season...and that season he ran for 2000 yards and one of best seasons for a rb....2000 superbowl year I think

Sean Taylor put in work. If Portis really idolized Taylor, he would have put in work too. That’s why ST is admirable and Portis isn’t.

Man idolized God and don't have the discipline to be like God still fail to the flesh each day.... don't ever questions someone else's admiration especially if you wasn't around them or don't know them personally
