This really got me , a few years ago I was subbed out of my soccer game and was told that a really close family friend of ours passed away , I couldn’t hold the tears back and just sat for the rest of the game. So respect to these guys for continuing after such tragic news

I don’t even know why I chose to watch this. Had a great day and now I’m crying like a toddler. Born and raised a packer fan. If I wasn’t a packer fan I wasn’t allowed to eat dinner and Brett was my guy. Still remember watching that game with my dad that night both of us just bawling. Greatest performance in sports history in my opinion.

I remember when Sean Taylor died, i was 12 and just started to understand football after so many years of my dad watching it. We lived in DC and it was just another damper on the Redskins decades of declining :(
@shampoofully79235 жыл бұрын
My dad spent 2 weeks in the hospital. We knew he was dying soon and I stayed with him every moment except to go play a basketball game. I hit a shot with 0.5 seconds left in the game to put us up by 1 and then a kid hit a half court shot to win it. I cried after. Not because we lost but because I looked in the stands and knew he would never be there again.

One day I came home from a bowling match, and I had found that my uncle passed away from cancer. Exactly one year later, I had a bowling match the same day, and I dedicated that match to him, and we had won!

Resiliency creates a mental toughness that brings out the amazing performance in people. It creates an overwhelming sense of duty, focus, mental clarity. and more importantly, the will to get things done at all cost. Grieving people "perform" their hearts out. A song touched by grief almost creates the holy matrimony of personal achievements. The power of resilience brings out not the best but the greatest personal achievements out of people. That is what we are witnessing here. Greatness in the face of adversity. And that is why they will be remembered.

I lost my teammate, i found out when i was leaving for hockey that she had passed away. Hockey was like starring at her in the face, but my team dedicated one of our games to her after three months of her being gone and that was one of the best games we ever played.

I went to the favre game I was just a kid probably 7 years old-I was one of the only green bay fans there cuz I loved favre and ahman green. Though seahawks is my main team-after the game the players were going through the tunnel and green through his glove to me. A fan tried jacking it and green screamed at him to give it to me so he did on his request-unfortunately i forgot the glove at the hotel that night-still makes a great story and memory
