Is it just me, or does Hyde look like a more emo version of Mr.Darcy from Pride and Prejudice?

If u like J&H there was a cool series in the BBC call Jekyll & Hyde. It only lasted a season but it was fun. Then about ten years ago they did a mini series called Jekyll. It was more ..adult I guess you'd say. I think it was written by Mark Gatiss. Both worth a watch.

Yeah Mr Hyde does not look like Dr Jekyll at all they're called split personalities for a reason different bodies minds souls and aspects you get the idea

They never were in the classics. Hyde is supposed to be intimidated.

In other depictions of him in other adaptions naturally he is that way. but That wasn't the route The director went with it came to ABC'S Once Upon A Time.

in the original book hyde is actually very short lol. And he's not a Hulk-like figure, he gives off an indescribable impression of deformity despite not really being deformed

Not gonna lie; I got here because I'm a huge fan of J&H and I wanted to see absolutely every single portrayal I could find. I know zero of the context of any of this. ...Some of this was tough to look at, such as when whoever that guy is just explains what Hyde is and what his name should be. There's also the fact that Hyde is a little *too* normal looking aside from his eyes. I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would. It does get very tiresome to see *so* many portrayals of Hyde- especially the older ones, make him downright a monster or some kind of ape-looking creature, because aside from generally giving you a terribly off-putting vibe and having bad posture Hyde was relatively "normal". He may have actually been _almost_ handsome as Jekyll was, just...internally twisted in a weird way that showed (as represented here by his eyes) and had bad posture, so this is not the worst. A good-looking Hyde is a nice deviation from the usual norm and so long as everything else is kept intact I'm not going to tear this Hyde a new one. (Still, a little more effort would have still been appreciated, because it's a little tough to see how anyone would find this guy more than just a little intimidating at worst...)

I’ve seen the entire story of Once Upon A Time’s version. Though he originally locked some of the main characters in a cage in his debut, it’s not the full story. Instead, as you look into the backstory, he is more of a tragic figure and Jekyll is the bad guy. Jekyll was consumed by lust for Lydgate’s daughter, but Hyde truly did love her. When Jekyll accidentally killed her, he framed Hyde for it.

I've started to watch this show only to see Jekyll knowing context. I'm watching every version I can find like you) don't know why but something in his character... Well... I love something in him. And sorry my poor English, I'm Russian.

I like this version then the old school type I'm a fan of that but in this version It shows a monster can look like an Ordinary person
