I really felt so sad for Zelena when she finds out Evil Queen came as Gold sent her. Knowing how wickedly clever she is, she clearly knows Gold would send her, but she didn’t know Queenie would obey him and go against her after everything they’ve been through. That’s why she’s so sad. Even her kiss for Robin and her “Mommy loves you” felt like she believed she’s going to die. Her love for Regina transcends to Evil Queen, so she wouldn’t want to hurt her, lowering her chance of survival. And the queen’s love-lust for Gold decreases the possibility even more.

When thinking back to season 3, Zelena was a lot more powerful. Its surprising to see her not fight back. I mean she was the better student of Rumple, and now she is refusing to fight her sister. Even if her sister is the Evil Queen.

Carrick McCormack Now that you mention that and I think back, I believe her pendant became her power. When she was given it like the majority of her powers was sucked inside. so now it makes sense why the Evil Queen is now strong. Which is so CHEATING. That is not a fair fight

Omegadra when did it got destroy? I believe it went in her when the time travel spell was enact....and she went back in time with emma and hook. From the Regina's vault, the pendant airs out a greenish smoke, travelling to the barn, where it engulfs the time spell symbol.

I liked Regina better when she had the evil Queen inside her, now she is sickeningly good, what made Regina an amazing character was her struggle between evil and good and her ability to change from do gooder to Evil Queen like that.

Well I remember that Glenda said the pendent amplifies her powers so I'm guessing even though she was the better student without the pendent she at the same level of magic as Regina I'm just guessing

@@tuxedomask009close. Zelena’s dark magic was more powerful than Regina’s yes. But we can see Zelena is reluctant to fight the evil queen. Probably because apart from Robin who is a newborn Zelena believed the evil queen was the only other person who would accept her. Regina is stronger than Zelena because she has both light and dark magic. It was established that Regina’s light magic> Pendant Zelena’s dark magic. Now when Regina uses the light and dark magic together like in s5 with the aprentice’s wand we can see the difference in power. Zelena almost fainted from summoning the tornado to Oz. Regina didn’t even flinch.

@@The_Memorial granted zelena is more powerful but if u read what was asked I was talking about when zelena magic was tethered to the pendant and Regina magic is dark magic and for that one battle with the live and belief she was temporarily able to use light magic and if u would remember the apprentice said the wand was of pure light magic and needed dark magic but like hook said Regina done too much good and also she needed to believe in herself to make it work and also remember what Regina said using the wand would of weakened her aswell that's y she needed zelena to use the wand so they can both get a way to Emma and recapture zelena at the sametime

You can so tell that when Lana was playing Regina that they used a green screen to put her in the scene because of how the background seemed so fake compared to how the background looked real with Zelena and the Evil Queen

Lel Uchiha (Sorry for my Bad english) Well, in the scene after this one when Zelena and Regina are together, We can clearly see are hurtfull it is to Zelena when She understand that Regina still doesn't forgive her about Robin. It is the Same thing when The EQ decide to betrayed her. She doesn't expected that at all. Beside, their "fight" was actually very short and Zelena probably hopes that The EQ doesn't hurt her in the end...

Not really the reason why zelena got beat up by lil sis Evil Queen cuz Regina the Evil Queen finally rise n let out her cage after 28yrs locked away in Regina mayor n was being good for Henry n not to kill cuz hero's don't kill so Evil Queen is like Cora heart less powerfull n Angry for her power n revenge she beat zelena even thoe zelena was ready to fight n defends her self n baby robin from Evil Queen but she Evil Queen was more Angry n powerfull n Rumple musta told Evil Queen how to kill n over power zelena this time N kill her with all her dark n evil Queen Anger dark magic power n yes win till Mayor Regina mills came n save the Wicked witch of Oz her big sister k so Mayor REGINA mills won this witch fight match yesss

I haven't kept up much with the new season, at least nowhere near what's necessary to understand whose power level stands where; is there a reason perhaps that Zelena didn't protect herself using magic? Are her powers nullified? Did she make an oath not to use them?
