When interviewer, Alan Kincaid turns around to face Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth and we see things through the reverse angle, I always felt that this angle should be in colour since we're no longer seeing things through the interview camera and there should also be a cameraman and camera visible directly behind Kincaid. Just to add to the reality of an actual interview taking place. Other than that, the movie is perfection on celluloid.
@eddie309913 жыл бұрын
Yes, he fucked up there. Jesus.
@reallyhappenings55973 жыл бұрын
no because he later speaks directly into that "front" camera... implying that the interview was shot with two cameras and what we're watching is the edit
@plissken21563 жыл бұрын
@@reallyhappenings5597 Perhaps. But there should still be a cameraman visible behind Kincaid after he turns to face Dalton and Booth. Otherwise, who is he speaking to during his opening introduction?
@joerobertson34783 жыл бұрын
I think this whole scene is Tarantino pointing out the total illusion of film and of Hollywood and what a complete "fairytale" it all is. There would have been lights and cameras behind Kindade and Rick and Cliff.

Is the girl that gets her flower suitcase from baggage supposed to be Janis Joplin? I’ve always wondered this.
@cgvapors9634 жыл бұрын
No I think that's supposed to be an unknown stranger at the airport. Or maybe Polanski's assistant. We see her behind Polanski and Tate as photographers snap pics of them leaving the airport, so likely their assistant.
@eddie309913 жыл бұрын
Considering that Polanski is telling her which bags to collect, she's probably his assistant..

Mr Pinhedz I agree with you. Some people, whilst they were leaving at the end of the screening, were asking each other “what was the point in Margot Robbie’s character?” which I found ridiculous considering that Sharon Tate, sadly for the cause of her death, has always been a household name to me for years and she is kind of the reason why most of this film exists.
