@@bells001 it's so forced. I hate how their relationship "developed" after season 5.

They are both "toxic" for each other. He let her go many times (1x12, 2x04, 5A) because he loves her and even if she knows his dark side she always comes back and wants changing him. In season 3 she admits that she loves him, "all of him even the parts that belong to the darkness". She is the kind of person in real life who stay in an abuse relationship because she is too idealist, wants always see the good in others and believes she will change him.

​@@Xxmel951xX Rumple has two different kinds of darkness in him. One is the loving darkness, wherein he shuts himself off from others and makes deals and tricks people all so he can find Baelfire. The other is the self-absorbed darkness that existed even before Baelfire was lost. The true coward. This is what Belle did not know about until Season 4, but she believed he overcame it in Season 5. Which is why she keeps trying in Season 6. I just wish it was written better.
