Well, technically, there were TWO smart people. Regina had the sense to get into a chair before she fell asleep, and Emma snuggled against Killian before she fell asleep. I DO love how its Hook that is the first one to take the potion....even before Emma and Regina. It truly shows his goodness as a hero shining through.

Anyone else met when Emma breathes “dad” upon waking up? I remember in the early seasons she had so much trouble recognizing David as her father. Far from calling him “dad” but in this scene it feels so effortless. I love good character development in a show! 😊

Hook only changed for Emma, to be with her. He proved early on that if she wasn't around he'd leave them to fend for themselves. Regina has done way more then him to redeem herself.

Regina only changed because of Henry, because if she hadn’t, she knew she’d lose him. Hook, however, went back for them in season 2 when he could have left with the bean and saved himself, saved David when he was dying of dreamshade, and went back for Emma in New York after Snow cast the curse. Saying he’d be different if not for Emma is the same as saying Regina would be different if not for Henry. Who cares why they changed? The fact is they did, and because of that, they gained more than they ever thought possible

@@AlwaysEliza85 I mean yeah, you need to have a reason to change, weather that’s a child or a romantic partner or family. They only changed for one person, but because of that one person, they gained a bigger family and people they would lay their lives down for in the process. You can’t tell me Hook doesn’t care about David or Henry or even Belle in season 6 when he tried to save each of their lives or souls that season or offered them protection when they needed it in Belle’s case. Even Regina went to great lengths to help Snow and David in season 6, not because it’s what Henry wanted, but because they’re her friends and family and she cares about their well-being and would hate to lose them

@@deadpooldan9862 Oh I’m not saying I don’t agree with you, I COMPLETELY agree. They both changed so much. Like when Emma’s having visions about The Final Battle, and she thinks Regina might be the figure under the hood, because she’s not with Emma’s family. She’s grown so much as a character that they all expect her to be with Emma’s family, and consider her a part of it. Same with Hook. Like you said, he went from wanting to kill Belle to protecting her. They ALL went to the Underworld to get HOOK, whereas in season 2, probably even 3, they would have left him there. So yeah, I agree with you
