However, considering he also probably would've read his own story and the stories of the people he knew, and saw how different they are from the reality he lived, I'm sure he knows that Rapunzel's story is also probably different. Not to mention the different versions of these stories we also have in our world anyway

Once Upon a Time's biggest miss was the short-changing of Rapunzel, in my opinion. Since you're well into S4 on Patreon, it's especially weird when you consider the characters they brought into S4, yet Tangled was still a recent film at that point. Heck, the voice actors may well have been up for doing the live action versions of Rapunzel and Eugene, had they been asked.

Aside from Henry and sending hook to find Emma the best thing he did was die. Snowing should have actually found out about what neal did to Emma before they named their son after that piece of shit.
