@@steven96 I've always seen Sandra as an antihero, especially in her two winning seasons. While she lies often and is super foul-mouthed, she usually is pitted against the season's main villain (Fairplay and Russell) and is generally shown at the end of both seasons as having the heroes of the season (especially in Heroes vs Villains) respect her.

Johnny the villain told a cool story. After the season, Savage invited the whole cast to his new house for a party. He didn't think Savage liked him but he ended playing with Andrew's kids for a while. Years later Savage sent him a thank you email because his kids thought of Fairplay like a cartoon character. He said Johnny was the only Survivor to give the kids any attention. I guess he's not a villain off screen.

Related to Savage's party; apparently Savage didn't invite Ryan S nor Lill. If that's true then what an asshole; I mean Lill I get it cause no one liked her but not inviting Ryan S? The poor guy was constantly picked on by Savage for being "weak".

It makes me sad that Fairplay went on Micronesia rather than waiting for a more fitting season for him to go on. He stated that he regretted going on Micronesia and wished he was on Heroes vs Villains. I would've LOVED him to be a villain on HvV, and he could've, but his day 3 quit in Micronesia pretty much ended any chance of him coming back. Imagine him being up against Russell Hantz and Boston Rob on HvV, would've been DELICIOUS to watch given he probably would've made fun of Hantz's arrogance and Boston Rob's goody two-shoes attitude that season.

I honestly believe that he actually had a shot at victory against Lill. Considering how terribly she performed at final tribal council and the fact that when Probst asked at reunion who would have voted for Lill over Jon only 4 on 7 said they'd have (and that's after the reveal of the grandma lie and everything else), I do believe he could have swept the votes in his favor had he been given the chance. Lill was overall very disliked, which is ironic considering how much of a threat at ftc people viewed her as during the game.

I completely disagree that Fairplay was never going to win. He masterfully maneuvered himself to a final 3 with two women who are just flat out awful at challenges. He drew an incredibly unlucky final challenge, I think with like 75% of the challenges he beats them, takes Lill, and beats her. The jury didn't like Lill, and didn't respect that she got voted out then came back. He'd have won against her. It's incredibly rare a Survivor player gets themself to F3 in an F2 FTC with that high a chance to win. He definitely could've won. It's also important to note that if Lill was thinking logically rather than emotionally, she'd have took him with her, as even though he likely beats her, she at least has some chance of beating him.

@@OnceUponAnIsland that's why I think he's overhyped I loved watching him, but fans v fav, yeah he basically quit but on day one nobody even wanted him on the tribe

He is the most overrated Survivor player. He quit the second time out and was the first boot. You know Probst hates quitters.

While Fairplay definetly earned his moniker as one of the greatest villains in the shows history they definetly made Rupert out to be much more heroic than than he actually was simply cause he clashed with and disliked Fairplay alot. I mean Rupert gets genuinely mad and is genuinely scary over just a single vote, Fairplay claims he even attempted to try and get Rupert to be violent to get him kicked off the show but Rupert shows he was really damn close and realized he needed to calm at the last second due to Fairplays eyes or something when he grabbed his shoulder. Sneaky stuff by Fairplay but Rupert never really felt like a hero to me regardless of the diting cause he just felt like a fire ready to explode over things and was kinda scary.... course I was much younger in those days and even today Ruperts rage feels a bit too much. But Fairplay is very argumentative and purposely annoying. Even jeff felt he was too much at times. And honestly as entertaining as Fairplay is, jeff has a point when he just makes a joke out of voting someone out. probably jeff had been annoyed from him being drunk and many other things but he was just taken aback by that comment and finally let him have it for a split second. Unfortunatly Johnnys bad behaviour and reputation made it probably really hard to be called back, and worse he was a super easy early target to avoid confrontation..... except according to Jonny he was denied some pain meds, unlike someone else, by the crew and probably realized he had zero chance of winning so asked to be voted out. Was it true? or was that just a lie to leave the game instead of waste him time against long oddsand not have fun? Was it just to troll the show itself? Who knows, Jonny is such a liar at any moment. Still, very entertaining, if not a bit too much when you consider the actual feelings and emotions of the other players.

Jon's a snake, yeah, and he's a terrible villain. But he also does heroic stuff, too.
