Even though it’s the “right choice” to break the hour glass, Jeff still coerced her into breaking it. “If you wanna do nothing then just leave everything as it is. But if you want to change history by making history… smash the hour glass” and then hands her the tool. Tbh that’s sly coercion. Which reinforces that budget era survivor tries to force gameplay and rely on shock factor rather than player wit and savvy gameplay.

The millisecond after Jeff told me smashing the hourglass gave me safety, that thing would be in a million pieces.

41 & 42 were the wokest two seasons which already puts them at the bottom of all seasons, but the broken game mechanics simply removes them from even being proper Survivor. They should be removed from Paramount +.

I took off my late teens and my entire twenties of survivor and the first season I watched coming back was Tony , and it is because of him (and that entire season) that brought me back in hook line and sinker. I’ve watched every season probably two times since . Tony is that dude and this show is the real GOAT( minus the new era , meh 😞)

For season 41 they should’ve had either way she’s not immune and she competes in the challenge, but she can smash the hourglass to reverse history, it could be an interesting strategy decision each season on what one of your allies do you wanna give immunity to

I will never understand how they got away with Operation Italy. It was so obvious that they could be cooking up something at the Sanctuary (because never trust anyone or anything on Survivor), so to not take some precaution (block a vote or Sue´s idol) it mind boggling to me. Andy had already shown how easily he can flip but I guess he was really good at convincing/lying to people and that perception becomes reality with the meltdown from episode one was still the reality for them. But in the end Operation Italy might have benefitted Rachel because Caroline would have try to take her out, and than the question would be, would Rachel had played the idol in the right moment?

I quit watching that season when Maryanne voted someone out based on their skin color. Thats the most racist thing that ever happent on Survivor

NO LIE i have never re-watched S41. it was sad....

Seasons 41 and 42 were idiotic. But one soldiers on and watches anyways. Then came the finale' and the 2 winners from those seasons, Erica and Mary Anne. But just when you thought that season had the weakest winners...along comes S.44. Yamyam.

For me season 38-46 were my least favorite. It felt like they were throwing everything at the game to see what sticks and we were all the guinea pigs 😵‍💫 didn’t love and was on the verge of checking out after 40 some odd seasons. I dont know but it feels like survivor jumped the shark all the way back in 38 and we are all just the hangers on.
