For '63, this is very proto. Usually the trippier stuff that pushed boundaries can be found starting around '65.

Excellent song that reminds me of Thd Pedestrians 1966 WLAV and WGRD Grand Rapids Michigan hit "Thibk Twice" that had Tony Cooper on vocals. Scott from Ada, Michigan April 3, 2023

wonderful Melancholy ballad hey there bolt 24 you posted this song was released in 1964 I can see how a song like this was overshadowed by the Beatles at the time that's too bad this song also had a Del Shannon feel to it

as i sit here all alone, the memory of you just grows and grows one day i'm happy, next day blue one day togetherness, next we're through oooh... but now i know i still love you so you are my angel, the one on my mind and as the time comes to a halt i've searched and searched, i find it's not my fault you let me down, you ran around why, why? oh, why? why? but now i know why you walked right out you played the game and left me with a broken heart and as i sit here, dreaming of you there's nothing else i'd do but dream of you you let me down, you ran around why, oh, why? oooh....

@@rogbrown1965 RIP Jack Russell. Great White were formed in Los Angeles. Their heyday was from the mid to late 80s. They covered, "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" an original by Ian Hunter. I had a chance to see them, but didn't. I regret that. Cheers, Sir Rog
