Yeah I agree. Drinking and driving is horrible. Being so drunk you don’t know how to drive? I got little to sympathy for you. Imagine how different this video would have been if the truck swung sideways into their lane? Way uncool. Coulda also just been an accident and the driver could’ve been sober. Who knows? Those bikers all helped anyway. Bikers are a different breed.

@@Pope005 I have no sympathy for a drunk driver either but I would do the same thing as his friend. Flip it around, it could be you almost causing someone’s death the one day/hour you make a poor choice by going too fast for your turn, but the other driver while pissed at you believes in no harm no foul so he deletes his footage so your punishment isn’t greater than what it already will be. Does that make any sense? Not sure I explained it well, but I guess my point is I just I condemn actions not men in 99% of cases, having said all that, you never know how youlll react and I don’t mean to suggest I’m holier than thou or if someone reacted differently to the drunk driver they’re in the wrong etc. just glad everyone’s safe at the end of the day

Mr. lightmode, you know the knew led kit, there is the sound reaction option on the app just as u were demonstrating at the end of the vid. My question is will that mode work if i play music through my cardo that is on the inside of the helmet?

The microphone is located inside the LightMode controller, so it would need to hear the music inside your helmet. I doubt your speakers would go that loud lol. If they did, RIP to your ears.

You guys were awesome by stopping to help, not everyone does. I came across a truck that was on its side and the driver couldn't get out. I had called 911 and reported it as I was pulling over, they replied they already got a call the location was wrong. After confirming we were talking about the same truck, I told them no it is here and gave the location of where the truck was, and they redirected the emergency vehicles. He was panicking something fierce, which may have been why he gave the wrong freeway on ramp to 911. When I got to the side of the truck I had to scream at him to calm down, and I would hold the door for him to get out, even then It took him a bit to realize I was there and was holding the door up for him to get out. It is not easy holding a truck door open when it's on its side. Mainly because I am on the short side, only being 5'6. My dashcam footage doesn't show much, only me seeing the truck and pulling over. So my cars drove by and no one stopped to help. It was raining, I was a girl by myself, stopping made me late for work, but it was the right thing to do in the situation and I would do it again without question. Depends which shipping option you chose and what you ordered. If you ordered something that was out of stock, you would have to start counting from the day you got the automated email shipping notification. For Germany, it's usually within a week or so. Maybe a bit more if customs wants to take their time.

In case somethng like this happens again....someone should stay on scene until law enforcement and/or paramedics show up. The driver could have been drunk, but had a sober passenger who then could say that he was the one that was actually driving. Or someone could have a warrant of some kind, and walk away from the scene to evade arrest.

Damn dude. That’s one of my worst fears… doing everything right, riding safely and being a victim of shitty final destination type nonsense. When I was a really fresh rider, maybe a few dozen miles on my tires, a big ass bird swooped down for roadkill right in front of me. I didn’t go down but I swerved and ducked and hit his leg and cracked my visor and dented my helmet. It was one of those gigantic “Busch garden escapees” my mom calls them, those big fucking cranes or whatever with like 8-9 foot wingspans and stand 6-7 foot tall. It was like playing chicken with a fucking dinosaur and I barely missed his other leg in my shoulder. If both legs hit me I probably would have been thrown off my bike, it felt like I got hit with a bat in the helmet. It was wild. Just an unavoidable freak accident that could have been anyone… absolutely terrifying. Death by random flying truck or modern dinosaur attack. Edit: ok I exaggerated a bit. They’re closer to 5-6ft tall with 6-7ft wingspans and they’re actually endangered which is weird because I see a ton of those cocky assholes all over the place. Probably why they’re endangered because they just walk in street and fly into traffic… dumb ass birbs.

That is BS. No one in front or directly behind me was riding the center line over a bridge. The truck hit the barrier just as I passed him. Plus the angle of the truck hitting the barrier wasn't someone moving to the shoulder, it was over correction.
