Glad you've kept safe all these years T. I watched Theo's (GSRX/Volvo Fellow) buddy go down at the track when they were racing back in the day & had a co-worker slide out in a busy round-about 5 or 6 years back. Super hard to watch that second video of your friend hitting the ditch. That moment would haunt me & I understand how you couldn't re-watch the video. I can't replay it either. I'm definitely with you on how the age hits & it becomes a solo thing. I couldn't cruise w/ anyone in my SC. Watching others taking risks became overbearing & bothersome. Anyway hope you're doing well! I'm a slight ghost online these days, but it's good to see you keeping it up! Cheers IWB ;)

Honestly, I still think this is overpriced, but I still bought one...oh, wait, no I didn't, I bought two...lol - one for the helmet I'm be using with my E-scooter, and the other for the scooter backpack (also adding multi-color LED strips in the scooter board). I received then a could days ago, but just got to test them a few minutes ago...and, to say I'm impressed would be an understatement. These are FANTASTIC (but, still overpriced...I think $150 would have been 'outstanding', $175 'excellent', or $200 'very good' deal). I only have one complaint...something done others have pointed out - the ability to link multiple units. Using the ShreadLights SL-FX+ as an example, up to 12 units can be linked, with all linked units showing the same color(s) & same effect. Now, I'm certainly not expecting LightMode's Night Shift to be able to link that many units...but, linking up to, say, 4 units would be fantastic, up to 3 units would still be really good, and linking two units would still be quite acceptable. Here we are, two years after the first comments on this subject we're left, yet such option still isn't available. What's up with that? Will it even happen? Ok, enough ranting. Yes, I still think the price for this is higher than it needs to be...but, I also REALLY like them. If we can't get the ability to link multiple units, how about more animation modes? 😄 👍👍

I use the lumous light bicycle helmet and reflective decals plus take zero chances, ride defensively and like you are invisible 🫥 then also consider a dash helmet camera. 😊

For safety, I would think this would make the rider more visible to others and therfore reduce risk to riders. I'm working to get my Motorcycle license. Last time I rode was dirt bikes like 25 plus years ago. So now that I am older and a bit wiser I hope, want to be as safe as I can when I do get a chance to ride again. I am definatly looking at getting this to help me be a bit safer out there. It looks great, defainatly eye catching and unique, and becuase its a light, all those things will bring more attention to the rider which is a good thing. You become less invisible on the road.
