It has such a strong country feel with that beautiful yodel/cry. It could have been made in Memphis. This is also a gorgeous piece of lyric writing, “now my flesh at arms with my pride.” Who hasn’t still attracted to someone they know they should say goodbye? So poetically put. And I haven’t even gotten to that haunting melody and Ondara’s delicate yet powerful voice. This is food for the senses and the soul. Thank you Ondara for sharing your gift with the world. 😃

Rush hour I pick up my wife from her job and I could tell she's had a hard day at work and she falls asleep on the way home. Our marriage is over after 7 years and we both know it. Going along the highway this song suddenly comes on the radio and I listen closely to the lyrics...I start crying as I look at her. It's painful but we know the marriage took its course and reached its end.....but we still somehow love each other but we know its over.
