They are not trained to stop bullets, lol. That's impossible. This is real life, not the Matrix. They're trained to defend if an attack or assault occurs, or stop someone from getting too close by keeping themselves between the person they're guarding and everyone else, which is harder the less security you have since one or even two security personnel is not enough to defend all directions at all times. An egg being thrown without getting too close is almost impossible to stop unless they see the throw at that moment and can either bat the egg out of the air or take the hit in place of target.
