the CDR is around about 9 euro in France. Which google tells me is about 15 aud. Value! Amadieu is actually a pretty large gigondas producer, so makes sense his grenache is on point.

The winery tasting room is right on the road leading into Gigondas, worth seeking out if you’re in the area. The town itself is lovely and welcoming to visitors, much better than CdP.

With some of the new legislation and bringing En Rama as a proper category they sure don't lack the effort. I love good sherry. Don't care if it's fino or px (though palo cortados have to be my favorites) they are just flavor bombs.

Palermo from Orin Swift averages around $70 USD here in the US - definitely a little splurgey, but not as much here as for you. My favorite Orin Swift is Abstract, runs around $40 USD.

This is interesting for me! I find Palermo undrinkable! Sweet and flabby! I'm super down for old school Cab Savs and whatever but that specific wine I don't know! The older the vintage the better! Not because it has aged but I feel like every new release is a little bit worse nowadays! I don't wanna sound link an a-hole but yeah!
