One advantage not often discussed about the muskox snowblower is how much volume inside it has. I use it like a box blade on fresh snow frequently.

I was hoping to find a video of just this thing IN ACTION after finding a video where Dirt Monkey posts about it. I don't have half an hour to listen to him talk. I just want to see the thing work. Thanks for the video!

I'd love to see a L65. or 85 with a Western Wideout XL type plow mounted

Nice set up but if your driveways are mostly like that one I would think a plow would be a lot more efficient But either way you got it done clean!

Nice to see it won't plug. I do this as well when the wind is in a bad direction. Did you ever run the bobcat sb240 blower with the 8.0 hyd motor on a toolcat? I was wondering how the throw is on the muskox compared to that. It's what I have now but it should be replaced soon.

if the snow is wet, it will plug, but if you listen you can prevent it. I never ran a sb240, so I can't compare sorry. The throw is decent and I would guess on par with any other hydraulic blower. PTO driver blowers throw a lot better.

So how do you like it? Would you buy it again? What size machine are you running it on?

Hi Jeremy. I run it on a toolcat UW53. I do like the Muskox. I think it’s the best option for a toolcat or a skid steer. Would I buy it again? No, but that is because I do residential snow removal and have found that a John Deere 4066R + Inverted snowblower is faster. There are some driveways you can’t do with an inverted though. I turned those customers down this year. So if you can do what you need to do with an inverted I would go that route. If you have to be able to blow forward, the Muskox is a great option. If you have a toolcat/skid and don’t want a tractor, then the Muskox is a great option.

@@allupsnowblowing thank you for your response. there is no replacement for first hand experience. how does the inverted snowblower work where you are driving over the snow and cant really get any down pressure out of the 3 point blower set up? i guess you could add a hydraulic arm to add the down pressure though.

@@jeremygibbs8659 Yeah you can use down pressure kit. The inverted scrape is not really that great, but its good enough for my area (i dont have a down pressure kit). It's just as good as the Muskox scrape.

Do you have the loader in float as you are pushing the the blower up the driveway?
@allupsnowblowing Жыл бұрын
No, i just feel the amount of down pressure I want to get a good scrap

Is that or is it not a snow BLOWER ?? BLOW the snow don't PUSH IT . Might as well of saved 15k & bought a bucket.

You obviously dont get the kind of snow I do here. Thanks for the comment though!

I also use my snowblower to back drag away from buildings in order to get the snow where i can blow it. There's times when i push the snow to a spot where i can then blow it as well. Nice video.

You are doing what inverted tractor guys do pull/ push where it easy to blow out . Nice job
