Fished like this from a boat this weekend and picked up 2 limits of chinook. Spin and glow with coonshrimp, let 6 sockeye and 2 summer run go. Great info guys

Great video! The first time I went fishing in Portland I caught a few small salmonids, a pikeminmow, yellow perch, and a big ass carp. Can’t wait to try some big river plunking. Looks like a good time!

I remember my dad bowfishing by The Dalles Dam, smacked one of those carp from the bank. It was probably 60+ pounds and broke off the Dacron line, watched that carp swim all the way to the Washington side of the river, arrow bobbing up and down the whole way across.

Hooked and landed an 18# carp while fishing a Bassmaster event a few years back up by Beacon Rock on a plastic worm in some pretty heavy current... thought it was Mongo Bass for a minute.. lol.. Great video today guys.. keep it up..

Lol my dad took me steelhead fishing one time around 13yrs old I hooked into a monster on my ugly stick Mitchell 300, dad was excited "don't horse it , it's a salmon" lol I finally saw the orange hue in the water & that was it for that spot had to move on, dad didn't like feeding carp.😹

Catch them jigging for walleye in the river with crawlers or leeches once in awhile, caught them on spawn bags and caught a 42lb. Carp trolling for walleye with. Crankbaits. No B.S.

I like carp they are yummy. They are flakey and taste is like a mix between trout and bass but they have a lot of bones.

from Holyoke MA been watching a while and just been able to comment We have big carp on the CT river along with shad, striper, walleye big pike etc. Like it when you guys (however seldom) use a centre pin when fishing, especially for steelhead.

When I was a kid we lived on Jantzen Beach there was a cove we fished by the railroad Bridge and this old Hispanic lady would come down with a bobber and worms and slam big carp like that all the time
