I've been running this build for a few days now and definitely getting a lot further. Solo I'm well into the 3rd arc, in a due my friend and I keep getting to the fight before arc 4, but the manticore is wiping us up still. Thank you so much for such a great build! I struggle with bar swapping, and this is simple and effective! (I still need to up my support skill line for the flare one and am using the alternative skill and you suggested). Thank you!

Hi Isabelle! Awesome, you got this! For the manticore, as soon as you see the sparkly disc above your head, start watching your feet, as soon as you see the big circle showing damage is coming, dodge roll. It takes a bit of practice to get the timing down but that's how I deal with it and when you get that dodge roll down, the Manticore is no longer a threat as that is it's only big mechanic. Arc 4 is next! 💪

@@jasonbross9130 Tri enchanting your gear is an optional element you can do, to help with getting your HP over 30k. It's not necessary for this version. In version 3, it's going to be semi-necessary once you are in upper Arc 5 - Arc 6. I wanted to put the option on the radar for people early. Great question, thank you!

If anyone is doubting this build please don't. I got my first flawless VMA run 2 days ago and I got spirit slayer this evening closely followed by undying song. I am rank 25 on leaderboard for VMA and 52 for VVH, which might not sound great for some but for me this is an achievement 😅. This build is truly OP. Some of the changes I felt should be mandatory for any version of the build so I went ahead and added it to the written guide (CP for example). The changes I have listed there will help you get from Arc 4 to 6+ more efficiently and just makes the build all around more efficient for very difficult solo content (really mostly higher arcs in EA, its a bit overkill outside of EA). I got a 1 bar archanist build that got up to 180k score. But in my opinion alot has to do with rng verse and vision, because once you pass arc 5 is just tank crawl for everyone and most of your damage comes for the perks you had gain with those extremely powerful proc verses if you are lucky enough to score one for the boss round.

Get your upgrades for a 3rd verse and 3rd vision choices and if you dont get any decent offensive/defensive visions by arc 3 start over. I generally have absolute no issues regardless of vision/verse til about arc 4 soloing with a nightblade. Even find myself speed running to arc 4 in about 20-30mins.

Hi Jason! Congrats! I agree, but I also know after tons of of clears with different builds, your build makes quite a bit of difference as well. Health amount, resist amount, shield and healing capabilities, etc. All the damage in the world doesn't help if you are getting 1 shot constantly or scrambling to live every second. Not to mention the normal damage elements of the build, depending how you set it up, can have cumulative or even exponential increases in EA. The verses and visions absolutely make you go Super Saiyan, but without the foundation behind it, it's a struggle (as I am sure you know haha). Great work! 💪

I tried whorl of depths with everything else the same last night I also have ansul I can equip but numbers looked better on character sheet for whorl, love my mag based builds. Your advice on going backwards has blown my mind! Such a difference with mobs. With a random pairing with a sorc we made it to last boss on arc 3. Every time I avoided manticore into a tentacle slap.

Awesome! Here is the final changes to the build that will allow you to hit the Arc 6 area more easily (changes made since after this video was posted). This is taken from our Discord, I havent gotten it on the website just yet: 1) Replace Briarheart with Hexos. Every piece will be set up the same. Just swap the gear sets out 1:1. I tried countless combinations. Tank sets to hit resist cap. Healing sets. Try hard damage sets. Weird combos of different mythics while still using 1 bar. At the end of it all, our good friend Hexos saved the day. It is what allowed me to push the build into mid Arc 6. Once you break into Arc 4 OR if you are struggling on Arc 3, thats when you will want to make this change. Its quite a bit overkill in the earlier stages. 2) Put all 64 points into Health. 3) Tri Enchant your gear if you can. This pushes our health even higher while keeping our stamina at solid values, and giving us back some magicka from the next step. As you progress, you'll need higher and higher health. Better to set it up correctly now. For example, last night in Arc 6, I got hit for 33k from a single attack. Plus we will have plenty of damage from visions and verses. This is about survivability. 4) Drop Sugar Skulls and use Pack Leaders Bone Broth food: eso-hub.com/en/food-drinks/delicacies/pack-leaders-bone-broth Or Bear Haunch for an even more well rounded experience. 5) In the RED CP Tree, drop rejuvenation and replace it with Juggernaut. This will give you a semi-constant 5% damage reduction. 6) Drop Lingering Flare for Spiteward of the Lucid Mind. This gives you a shield when you use it, heals you when you use it increasing per crux used, and reduces in cost by 30% per crux spent. It also scales off max health (see all the health stacking elements above). Lastly, it gives more sustain from the passive: Soldier of Apocrypha - Wellspring of the Abyss. More sustain than the CP slottable Rejuvenation gives, which is why we were able to freely drop it in place of Juggernaut. So, this means, when you use this ability with 3 crux, its basically costs nothing, will shield you for ~11k and heal you for ~11k to ~21k on crits. So about 20-30k effective health. So in super intense panic moments, rather than flail/flail/beam, you will flail/flail/spiteward. And remember, your flail is also healing you in the gaps as well. Recuperative Treatise gives 1 crux every 5 seconds if you have none. The reason your rotation for damage is "always" 2 flails followed by beam (rather than 3 flails followed by beam), is because Treatise is almost always guaranteed to proc during your 5 globals of channel time for beam. However, if you arent beaming for those long blocks of time, you wont get that extra crux after every 2 flails. So keep an eye out on your crux if you get caught on your heels flail/flail/spitwarding. You may need to weave in a 3rd flail for the 3rd crux at times to get its full effect. I have actually flat footed out tanked a Marauder just flail/flail/Spitewarding. Other than using Spiteward in intense defensive moments, the playstyle is exactly the same. 7) Use this CP for the blue tree: Ironclad: -6% Direct Damage taken. Unassailable: -6% Area of Effect damage taken. Enduring Resolve: -6% Damage Over Time taken. Duelist's Rebuff: -6% Single Target damage taken.

I mainly go mag as I am not efficient at running, dodging etc I use up relatively more stam just getting around in a fight. Wish we had martial attacks in seperate resource pool instead of all using stamina as I can't sustain. I hate not having enough juice for a block! Still walking backwards when attacking has been the best piece for solo pve defense and more difference than any set. You should so look to do a video talking about archive tactics as so different from shouting charge and running at adds. Title- your free secret defense weapons.

cheers for this build and for the extra info about archive fights thats definitely gonna help me on other classes o7 edit: went into Archive on this build with only skill level 2 on destro and 28 on light armour and got to 62k first run, second run still aint got all passives and i hit 90k b4 the game glitched and an add got stuck in the stairs where i couldnt hit it and i had to restart the game, helluva build and that 90k is my best run on any class so far all thanks to a great build

Love the videos. I was wondering about switching one of the medium sets to a heavy armor setup for increased survivability. Something crafted like ancient dragonguard, claw of the forest wraith, innate axiom, or order’s wrath from craftable. Soulshine, way of fire, thunderbug’s carapace from overland etc., etc., etc. I realize it’s a loss in damage. I am on console so I haven’t been able to test this yet.

This is going to depend on which class you're using and where you sit in terms of resistance/heath. As a nightblade I've just been running warrior-poet and back alley with oaken. I'm sitting around 26k resists and 33k health 2 heavy 5 light. Nightblades dont exactly have a lot of utility for armor and resistance buffs from their class skills, but make up for that with their insane burst and overtime heals.

@@Dooma Well i tried the build and not even at full power due to certain skill lines not being fully levelled, i got to about arc 4 cycle 2 stage 2 i think which is the furthest i've gotten yet! :D The thing is i didnt even fail, the game just sort of bugged and finished my run randomly and teleported me back. like i didnt even die it just teleported me back and gave me my score. but all around really fun build with a unique playstyle. ty man :)

Hi Hero! Spiteward. I will have an update soon for the final changes for higher Arcs. This is part of it. You'll flail/flail/spiteward defensively and receive a shield + additional healing per crux used. Youll want this over the other morph of Runeward, because it also has a 30% cost reduction per crux spent, so - 90% at 3 crux. This will allow you to spam it mostly endlessly with flails to build crux beforehand in really tough situations.

Hi dooma, I am curious if switching to Highelf (additional 5% dr during FC channel) and switching to stacking mag instead of stamina would still leave enough stam sustain for flail and basic combat abilitiys eg dodgeroll etc?

Hi Ace! If you wanted to do that, you could use cruntchy spider skewer food which gives max mag + stam sustain, but that would almost certainly result in a weaker build all around. You are using a ton of stam in EA. Dodgerolls, constantly interrupts, sprinting away from things, you are getting cc'd and breaking it constantly. You may be able to soak up a bit more damage during beam windows, but youll certainly end up being pressed harder than you would in higher arcs than if you were stam (with this specific set up).

Hi Phillip! You definitely can, you just need to be a bit more mindful of your health and staying ahead of the damage. If you were to do that, I would recommend dropping Lingering Flare and using Spiteward. When you are in trouble, you will flail/flail/spiteward rather than flail/flail/beam. (One of the things coming up in version 3).

I know sometimes after a transformation phase, builds can get busted and you have to re-equip items to get the set bonus back. I usually don't see Briarheart healing and get a notification that "target is immune", have it be a mob or boss. Any idea what it is I'm seeing?

Hi NG! That bug was patched as of yesterday. I’ve done a few runs since then and it looks cleaned up. That shouldn’t be happening to you any more. With this build, Briar has ~70% up time. So as long as you are flail/flail/beaming, you should be receiving its heals most of the time. The only thing in this kit where a target could be immune to that would give a notice, is the immobilization from flail if they are cc immune, but that won’t affect its damage or it’s healing for you.

Hi Alican! This will work for anything in the game you want to solo. At the beginning of the this video, I showed briefly how the previous version of this build cleared vet mael/vate with no deaths or sigils easily and was able to solo a trial boss. It can work in group dungeons also, but its a bit overkill in the defensive area. You can drop both Flare and Runeguard for more damage.

Yes to both! In the intro, it talks a bit about arenas and how the previous ("weaker") version blew through them with no sigils or deaths and also was capable of soloing a trial boss. Lingering flare is a bit overkill defensively for group content, so you can replace that with another damage skill if you like.

Hi Thomas! Tri-Pots are one of the more basic potions in the game. If you are going to run anything with Oakensoul, it's highly advised. The next step down are just basic potions. Light/heavy attacks- you make no mention of this or weaving when talking rotation of skills. Is this because we assume LA is used between each skill?

Hi Julia! Great question! In ESO, if the build is not a heavy attack build and the build is not using the Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet mythic, the general understanding is that light weaving is involved to some degree. You don't have to if you don't want to, but its just extra damage you are losing out on by not doing it. There are other implications for light attacks as well just with how combat works in ESO such as ultimate generation, enchant procs, and various other beneficial elements. It's an important component to how combat works, so even if someone is not great at it, they will still receive some positive benefits on top of extra damage by just doing what they can. Would you say this is now the preferred build for “anything”PVE? 4 man, solo, all PVE content ? What about PVP? Now build variant still your suggested best 1bar PVP? Will be trying this build tonight in endless 😊

Hi Bryan! This will work for anything in the game you want to solo. At the beginning of the this video, I showed briefly how the previous version of this build cleared vet mael/vate with no deaths or sigils easily and was able to solo a trial boss. It can work in group dungeons also, but its a bit overkill in the defensive area. You can drop both Flare and Runeguard for more damage. This wouldn't work very well for pvp since its focused primarily around beam damage (which is very avoidable in pvp) without much supplemental damage outside of flails. You'll just be beaming the air most of the time haha.

Hi Telephone, you are very welcome, and thank you for watching!! This build (very easily)ran through both vma and vvate with no sigils and and no deaths and was able to "easily" footed solo a 12 man trial boss. Overworld content is an exponentially step down in difficulty than all 3 of those. With a few small modifications, it can also participate very well in veteran/hard mode dungeons and many trials.
