One big patch antenna long range snapper 7 FPV

Opening the mail this week to find my order had come in, One big triple feed patch antenna for long range 14dB. Biggest fpv antenna I'd seen, It's the size of a dinner plate. Long range snapper 7 test time to see what the reception was like & if the little snapper 7 could reach all the way across the field on 25mW.
The answer is yes & it could have gone further but the wind was a bit gusty & I didn't want to loose it over someones garden & have to go hunting for it.
It's not heavy on the fatsharks but it does hang a bit & loosen the sma connectors. A bit of threadlock should sort that issue.
Snapper 7 flew like a champ, above the trees for a bit & it did seem to break through the trees with a pretty good signal. The lang range patch antenna does seem to do it's bizniz well.
Can't wait to try it on the bigger kwads.
