I used to skip class and go to Bulawayo city centre in 1994 to hear this. I was at Founders High in Barham Green, Bulawayo. I ended up in Joburg because of Dan Tshanda. Now I am in Canada. "Makarapa huma haye" (Because), " athilale, sikhu nama sihare" Meanining: They can not sleep day and night because Makarapa has been gone. Makarapa huma=Mine labourer please come back home alive (with the goodies, 🤣) Makarapa is a migrant mine labourer. His family back home is worried. Is Makarapa dead or still coming? The gold mines are so dangerous!
