It’s been 10 years since “Lo Impossible “ came out.When the first time I heard this song was watching the trailer of this movie. It’s so impressive of his voice with the movie. This song literally makes me want to cherish every moment of my life while I was listening, it’s so touching while getting a little bit depressing.

I love the U2 song, of course. But, I love how as soon as you hear the faint opening guitar note you know its Damien Rice and for me that means I may not be dancing in my seat. but Im going to feel every single word he says. A cover is not meant to be a duplicate, you're supposed to put your mark on it and I think he did a brilliant job of that.

Loved that he changed the lyrics to match his voice and style. The replacement of "you" in the original to "I" in this cover changed it from being an angry tone to a remorseful, sad version. This is a very interesting cover. Damien has transferred the feelings of guilt and helplessness to himself; from “you” to "I”: “You say love is a temple, love the higher law. I ask you to enter, then I make you crawl.” This has enabled him to replace the wronged, anguished tone of the original with a confession like tone filled with sadness and hues of guilt in between. I for one like this cover!

I did not "get it" at first but this cover had really grown on me. I am U2's biggest fan and grew up in Dublin with Boy etc. Neither am I a Damien Rice fan but he does a wonderfully minimalist job on the song and the piano is simply gorgeous. Fantastic cover!
