The thing that bothers me about most of these stories is that honestly I can't really see myself being friends with 90% of these people. Every other character seems really really shallow.

You also have to note that they are small oneshots. They don't have the ability to go in depth in characters that take 20-30 chapters. I'm not saying that they couldn't make them more detailed but they are basically little life lesson skits where in depth characters don't actually mean much
