Oh, this is so me it's not even funny. I worked the night shift for 13 years. And my coworker on that shift got the "date nights," Fridays and Saturdays, off since he had seniority. When I went back to college, I worked a part-time job and took in my grandmother (and taking care of her was pretty much a full-time job all by itself). Even after I graduated and got a teacher job, I took care of her. When she passed, I devoted myself fully to being a teacher, which meant 12 to 16 hours a day (I was called on for a lot of extra duties since I didn't have a girlfriend/wife or family to take care of). I tried to find a girlfriend at this time, but I was cruelly rejected each and every time. That old Frank Sinatra song, "Luck Be a Lady Tonight"? I think she was a lady, and she treated me like every other lady, by looking down on me. She treated Aizawa way better than me. Kids these days are a lot smarter than most adults give them credit for, so the Aizawa's comment about his neighbor's daughter came as no surprise to me.
