I born and brought up in Dombivali. The Phadke Road is Dombivali's paved Road and the Name of the person who praposed and build road (actually "Surname") gave to the road. At that time Ganesh mandir is a small temple. Around that temple were small but separate temples which today are united in a single structure. Palava is outer area. It's not in Actual Dombivali. Even Bhopar is also outercut of Dombivali.

Dombivli was good in 90s or say early 20s , crowd was good , open spaces was there , infrastructure was sufficient. now situation is grim. Pathetic roads, no proper sanitation, illegal construction, n list goes on..

should've visited power house in dombivli west built in 1986. and mahila samiti school build by british.

Not in 1986. The power house was belong to tata power and it shut down in 1986 after boiler blast in power station.

Thakur vada pav actually killed it's atheauthenticity of wada pav. Befor Thakhur Vadapav Two sister start saleing BatataVada at the evening where today There is Shekhar snack center and RTO near railway station east; and in 70's shifted to their own proper shop (Sainath snacks bar today known as Patkar Vadapav.) to old ayre Road.

There are so many Hotels in Dombivli managed by Mangalpurm people Mangalores) The taste is as same as your kerala style. I am from Mangalore settled in Dombivli from last several years.
