What an fantastic video on one of my most favorite cities. I was born in Houston, but moved away when I was very young. I always returned to visit my grandparents every summer---so it's always been like a second home. The skyline still takes my breath away everytime I visit.

Fantastic documentary! I have lived here all of my life (30 years) and all I ever heard growing up is how bad Houston was in many areas... nationally and even by the locals. Not any more! I love my hometown... always have. But things are changing and Houston is on the verge of becoming one of the best cities in America and beyond. Your film is proof of that. Nice work!

Our music scene, every kind of music is important to us, we were only able to shoot so much in our 4 days of principal photography...there are many things that we need to include next time around. Thanks for your comments Polly..

I have never seen HTCC...but I hear it is a very good film and have been meaning to check it out for some time. This is a completely separate project but we are happy to be in such good company. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words Henry. We used the Sony CineAlta F950 HDCam with DigiPrime lenses..a great look. A lot of that look is a direct result of the talented cinematographers on the project Raul Casares and Wayne Forster...they turned in remarkable work. Everything was edited & color graded in uncompressed 4:4:4 HD at Zenfilm. We then captured the HD master and output an H.264 quicktime as close to the file size limit as possible. Hope this helps, all the best, Ross

Our teams and our racers are all very important components of our city...they just weren't all in action or available during our 5 days of filming...but we are working on including them in future projects. Thanks for the feedback...

Hi Istar77, Thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated. We covered as much ground as we could in our 5 days of shooting and didn't cover everything..but any omissions are unintended and due to shooting/running time and the people we could line up for those shoot days. Besides...we had to save some good stuff for the sequel.

Yeah, uh, they missed the C&W scene. Guess they didn't want to feed the sterotypes, but it's ignoring one of the things that makes Houston great. Nice video though!

I'm in Houston, everything r actually not really look perfect, Black n poor areas r just as worse as anywhere in US, traffic is surely bad, crime rate is avg. But its very economical is live there, cheap housing, lots and lots of part jobs great for students, diverse, gas now is cheap compared to other cities, ethnic towns, and u can buy almost everystuff there, ; overall Houston is a very good choice!

? The transit systems sucks. This is no New York. You need a car to get anywhere in Houston, and if it isn't rush hour, the buses run just about every hour. In most cases you have to take a bus into the downtown area to connect with whatever bus you want to take to get where you need to go. Better give yourself 2 hours to get there.
