I had 6 American eskimos which look and act just like the Japanese spitz in my life. One died of acute hemolytic anemia and the others of old age at 15 to 17 years of age. Very intelligent, very fun loving and very affectionate. I’m 68 and retired so I can’t afford vet bills or I would get another one. However at my age if I outlive them I wouldn’t want to leave him/her unless I knew I had someone who would care for him/her should I die.

It's so amazingly wild how similar our Spitz are.... My dog and your dog do the EXACT things.. LIKE to the the beat exactly the same acts and things, in the morning up until 1:20 is literally my every single day. These dogs are awesome :)

i used to use anti tears wipes but I've noticed there's no effect. so i stopped using medicine. now i just wipe it off with a tissue every time he has too much tears

That type of retractable leash is dangerous. Better to get (if you must use one) the flat nylon type material. The cable can and has injured dogs who get caught in it
