A day in life of a Japanese Spitz

Hi Everyone! Thanks for watching Mochi's day in life and please watch till the end! We are here in Adelaide, South Australia. Please subscribe the channel and like the video for Mochi!
Mochi starts her day by having breakfast with her two cat siblings. Then go for a 30 minutes walk with daddy. After a nap and rest, Mochi visits her local pet shop and cafe to get pet by people. She has her second nap after coming home and get her daily brush before going to the dog park in late afternoon. Like most of the Japanese Spitzs, Mochi doesn't like to play with dogs but only with people. Mochi has dinner with the cats around 7:30 at night and will then take a very long evening pee. Mochi goes to bed at 10pm with treats in her bed too!

My female Japanese spitz passed away in February and this video has made the grief a bit more easier to handle. She was my little fur daughter. My little baby ❤️💗

I met a Japanese Spitz at a geriatric palliative care home who was a patient support dog. What a wonderful bundle of joy. Such cool dogs. Mochi is so great too. Cheers.

Hi! I'm a happy owner of a Japanese spitz here in Russia. Your doggie is super great, no stains around the eyes, still I would suggest taking Mochi to the groomer to thin the hair. It worked miracles for my Prince. After grooming and washing it would look "leaner", "less heavy" and super adorable. Have a good day! ))

Mochi goes to groomer every two months to get the coat thinner too :)

Females are different than males. I dont think you should thin out the hair. I had Sammoyeds and bred them, the male looked like a lion, and female looked a female lion, but they did shed once a year. I never thinned out the coat, and when I sold the puppies, they came for a female and left with a male after seeing the father. Trim maybe. Thin oit. No.

Mochi is absolutely gorgeous, and I see that you have a cat too!!! I would suggest not cleaning mochis coat a lot cuz then it will become dry. Only clean when necessary.

I heard this about japanese spitzes but my breeder who's been showing for 15 years says it's not really true, as long as you use mild shampoo

Why did you lock her up for bedtime? She is out all day long, and then lock her behind closed doors? Does she try to get on the bed, or is she not trust worthy to not pee or poo on floor? I lock my cat in a kitchen, but its a big kitchen at night, only because I dont want to have him sleep with me. I feel I might roll over on him and hurt him. But the dog could sleep at the bottom of the bed.. it kinda felt like she was alone, and I thought they really wanted to be close to their owners and was a guard dog as well. She really cant protect anyone if she is locked up behind closed doors by herself at night. Other than that she ia well cared for and seems to be happy. .

Crates keep ur dog safe and comfy. It's like their bedroom.
