We recently had exactly one day to visit Tybee Island, Georgia on our way to a wedding. Less than 20 miles from one of our favorite cities, Savannah, Georgia, this island is a beach resort destination. We didn't have time in one day to do everything so we hit the highlights, we visited the lighthouse, a museum, the marine science center, a popular restaurant and, of course, the beautiful beaches. We arrived on Tybee Island right after breakfast, embarked on this whirlwind tour and were on the road again by dinner time. Join us as we show you what there is to love on Tybee Island. The First Cottage is gorgeous, like stepping back in time. I love the Lighthouse, it has had a long history. Awesome views from the top of the Lighthouse. You have come along way from segregating coloured people from using the beaches. Cute baby turtles. The Crab Shack looks like an awesome place to eat. Great menu. Those Alligators 🐊 are not friendly. I used to live 10 minutes from here!!! They filmed The Last Song on Tybee Island and many others. My kids went on field trips to this museum and the marine center. We loved swinging on the beach swings and bogey boarding. We also dined at Bubba Gump’s quite often. It’s prob gone now. Great memories… Wonderful video friends!!! 👏🏼👏🏼♥️

First trip to Tybee last July. The Breakfast Club is a must for delicious breakfast. Gets busy so get there early. We stayed on the river side. Beach is long but not wide. We enjoyed watching the ships leaving Savannah.

I have never heard of this Island before. We really need to do more East Coast Adventures. As I get older, I have a greater appreciation for Lighthouses. Love how they tell you how people live in the 1800’s - early 1900’s. Nice shot Drone Jack! The science center is something my kids would love, especially the touch pools. Alice seafood pick is what I would have picked. 🐊 freak me out. I was waiting for the Jack and Alice Jet Ski Vlog! Always love a filming location, especially for Baywatch.

Hi! Loved the cottage tours. I've never been to Georgia, it's so beautiful. The food there looked wonderful. The gators and birds were fun to see, would have been so amazing to feed the gators. Tybee Island looks like a wonderful place!

Lighthouses are great fun. I am still looking for one with an elevator so I don't get vertigo climbing all those stairs. LOL. Jack enjoys going up to see the view from the top so I guess I will just continue enjoying the view from his camera. It reminded me of the history of Bodie Island Lighthouse as well. We absolutely love Savannah but despite our best intentions never got outside to see these beautiful places too. Tybee Island looked like a lovely beach area and we loved your tour, Jack and Alice. We enjoyed seeing the lighthouse and the museum.We loved visiting the marine center with you! Our boys had so much fun when they were growing up in similar touch exhibits. Love that the admission was really a donation towards marine rescue. So much to see and do and we need to spend so much more time in the area. "Stay Connected, Squawk!"

Very interesting video! I really enjoyed learning about the lighthouse and its history. The baby turtles and gators looked well worth the $10. I also thought the Crab Shack looked like a great spot for food and they had a really good drink menu. Too bad they didn't let you feed the gators, but you still got some great shots of them.
