This video actually made me learn a couple of things about how japanese name themselves, specialy, the difference between japanese name written in Kanji and Hiragana. it really does motivate me to start learning japanese. Just a silly question: with all the different possibles pronunciations a kanji character has, how do you do to know how to pronounce a name written in Kanji when you see one? have an amazing day, Oba.

Even Japanese people are often confused about how to read kanji. In particular, kanji used as names are often read differently than usual. For example, the kanji for “龍” is never read as “Megumu” in daily life. Even as a name, it is extremely rare. It is usually pronounced “Ryuu". The reason why many kanji used in names have special readings is because parents put various wishes into their children's names.

@@obaniwan "The reason why many kanji used in names have special readings is because parents put various wishes into their children's names." That´s the really sweetest thing I have ever read. Parents always want the best for their children I guess. Here, names don´t really have any special meaning at all. When the europeans colonized Argentina, they renamed all the natives they captured with europeans names in order to delete the culture of the natives from history. We all have europeans names over here and they don´t mean anything at all, or if they had a meaning it is simply lost, people don´t really care about that kind of stuff over here. Thank you a lot for answering my question. I have searched some of the name japanese use and they are really cute names: 愛 あい Love, affection 彩花 あやか Colorful flower 明美 あけみ bright and beautiful you have a lot of cute names.

@@capscaps04 Your understanding of the Japanese names you wrote about is correct. As an aside, parents these days tend to give their children fancy names. Yes, names that sound like the main character in an anime.😁

Yukakarin!!! My favorite ☺️ I love the five elders. They are to be protected and loved. It was nice to see an episode of them with meta newspaper!! Excellent story telling 😁
