Yes! I love Midnight and he said he was done with the overly sexy music so I'm excited to see what he does next! Because he has an absolutely amazing voice and is a great performer! Just his voice in the x-factor audition alone showed how much potential he had and what he has done since... He is so reliable live and I hope he will showcase his abilites better from now on. He did struggle to find himself after the band and I hope he has been doing as well as he seems to be lately. Seems to be so much more centered in himself and much happier now as far as we can tell from his latest appearances. Hope he doesn't need to put on a persona as much in the future. Also KZbinr Liam - I am here for it! He's made some decisions in the past that were not very wise but I think he is someone that learns from those experiences and grows from them. Anyways. I love Midnight :D

@@analuzgodoyblackie5103 He had writing credits on songs that weren't all that great too. Personally, most of the "amazing" songs he had writing credit on, were songs he wrote with Louis. Maybe his management has something to do with the album he made, although that doesn't sound like their job, and I'd be very surprised if Liam didn't have veto power. And it's not his record label's fault, because Heartbreak Weather also came out through Capitol Records. I think despite the fact that it's been three years, Liam should have simply spent more time on the album and made sure good songs were on there, that's all.

He also had a baby and a baby takes up a lot of a parents time and he wanted to get something out for us his fans so he probably didn’t get to spend as much time as he would’ve liked on it to make it perfect

fun fact is that when 1D came up I was 12 and I've been a fan since the beginning, of course I also liked a lot of other pop artists of that time, I got all the CDs and used to listen in the car ALL the time, and since the beginning One Direction was the only one of "those bands of mine" my father liked at all, he used to listen to them with me and really liked it while all the other adults always made fun, they didn't know what they were missing and misjudging a really great band

Ugh. This performance was so great. Honestly, 2013 1D was PEAK 1D in lots of ways. It was their first year headlining stadiums, their most "rock" album came out that year, etc. It was amazing to witness it in the moment. It amazes me to watch lots of fans coming into the fandom post 2015 because I just would be SO overwhelmed with ALL THE DAMN CONTENT. It was overwhelming then and, frankly, it still is now to follow their careers. I'm glad you watched this performance in particular because of how high energy it was. If you can/are interested, I'd recommend their movie (although how much of it was REALLY real remains to be seen...) "One Direction: This Is Us." It's got performances all through it, which is so fun. Definitely gonna look into your Patreon now!

Around 7:00, you make an interesting comment about the impact 1D had by just watching in stadiums and rock bands that used to do that. 1985 Live Aid (most of you subscribers weren’t even born) was madness. The Queen movie gives an idea of how crazy it was (UK version). It was U2 and then Queen. Can you imagine that? And U2 was really close to the peak of their careers. People, go to the Live Aid. Thanks for Luis comment, I think too that he has special voice. On KZbin there is video called "one direction performance on NRJ 2014 without Luis" (still my girl) and in comments some people say that its the same or better without Luis.
