Zayn, Harry, and Liam have the most commercial voices out of the band, plus they are the ones who in terms of looks are attractive (mostly Zayn). So I guess they focused on them as they knew success depended on them. This is evident in their solo performances, those who had good voices and good looks are very successful, take Harry who's been in the top artists for the past few months, alongside Zayn who worked in many model agencies and has been the most successful so far. That's the music industry for you.

My opinion on Zayn is that I feel like he's a naturally chill, laid back, and a quiet person. He was a lot more hyper when they were younger but that was four years ago. He's grown up. I know that I am a very soft spoken person so if I were in the spotlight 24/7 I'd be a bit like Zayn. Ya know. Plus the other boys in the band are very loud and silly so sometimes it over shadows Zayn; such as in this interview when she asked Zayn about the rumors, Liam and Harry just answered for him. I don't mean that as an insult I just personally believe that Zayn is very soft spoken and he's not necessarily naturally pop-star material (meaning he's not naturally comfortable with all of the attention) like Harry, Liam and Niall are. I don't think he's leaving the band. I just feel like he's really focused and soft spoken and that can come off as a bit stand-offish. Relax guys.

I could tell Zayn was really uncomfortable when he was asked the question. The way he reacted seemed awkward and the way he answered the question was almost like he was sarcastically saying no. I feel bad. It’s almost like he forced himself to say no. On the other hand, the boys was sarcastically saying yes. It’s almost like they had no idea he was planning to leave. That’s just sad 😢.

Zayn is easily the closest to Louis. Maybe its because they're the only two that are known to have taken drugs, but I think the whole fame thing has been the biggest on those two and thus they enjoy each others company. He didn’t lie because he didn’t exactly say no he just said that he’s here and that everything was fine. Also putting not well is an understatement he was suffering from strong anxiety and an eating disorder while also having such a bad sleep schedule and stuff like that.

the shade in zayns eyes gave me chills. when she complimented his hair he gave an eye and looked her up and down and i lost my shit. i hate when interviewers ask such stupid questions that hes leaving the band even if he is why would he announce it on extratv? like seriously you wouldnt think they have like a press conference and tell the fans 1st b4 saying on an interview on the green carpet of some event? really? come on now. interviewers need to stop asking serious questions in light hearted situations this was less than a 5 min interview and you look up half the time askin a question we all knew the answer to instead of asking questions about their music and cracking jokes to make them smile. that question only make the boys uncomfortable, upset zayn, and pissed off the fans. good job.
