Eleanor Smith Matt Cardle was the winner. He is so, so much better than One Direction. His voice is just gorgeous and his songs are great. Simon KNEW he had something big and that he had plugged into the teenage girl fan base that has blown up all the boy bands in the past - until those boy bands fade into obscurity. Nothing against 1D...I just can't think of one boy band that has stood the test of time. First time watching this and it's so sad for Liam's son, Cheryl being the mother left to parent on her own, his family, friends and of course the boys.
