Ah Ha! I was the 69th like! Unnecessary jokes aside, this is absolutely beautiful! Daspletosaurus was a genus that was linked to volcanic action. Considering that it is slightly more popular, this species of Daspletosaurus is probably D. torosus, but that's just a guess. I love how you made the diorama volcanic since, as stated, Daspletosaurus was in an environment with volcanic action. I also love the blend of coloration of the lava and the fact that it glows from what you said. I also love that you used a modern-day reptile that likely shared a similar environment as an inspiration for the coloration of the frightful lizard. This is not only my favorite diorama you have ever made, but is also likely my favorite prehistoric diorama ever made! Just beautiful! Happy St. Patrick's Day :)

I love this diorama! Part of me would stick a couple LEDs underneath it to give the larval even more of a glow effect. Would probably look sick at night.

That was my original plan but it looked ok without it, I lifted it up to take pics which let light in from underneath

It would be really cool if you made a counterpart to this piece with a gorgonops instead if a daspeltosaurus, because of the Permain extinction and all that

I still remember watching a documentary and a scene in it was a gorgonops roaring on a rock and while roaring a wave of lava covers the gorgonops and the gorgonops is gone I laughed when I saw that in the documentary
