Would love to hear you guys discuss some Bible prophecy! Too many Churches and preachers are afraid of that topic, a topic that makes up about 30% of scripture, and a topic that is becoming more relevant with each and every passing day! Maranatha!

] Mantis-Mike [ Yes, I know. I’m not a fan of Perry Stone though, because he let his father speak of talking to dead people on one of his shows. This, as I hope you know, is strictly forbidden in scripture. I follow people like Jack Hibbs, David Reagan, and Amir Tsarfati, to name a few. I would however, love to hear the Robertson’s tackle this, since they have a massive outreach, and probably including people that don’t have a clue about Bible prophecy.

All bible prophecy in the Old Testament was fulfilled with the death of Christ on the cross. In the New Testament there is one book of prophecy - Revelations. It was fulfilled in the first century with the fall of Jerusalem. Today we ought spend our time preparing for the one prophesy that has yet to be fulfilled - the day of judgment in Matt. 25:31-46.

I owe all of you a great debt of gratitude, you've all been my biggest mentors and male role models in my life for years. I really dont have much family left, and never had a positive male I influence in my life, so I latched onto Duck Dynasty and almost made myself a hypothetical part of the family. I watched your shows to just be around a Godly family, and it took me through a lot of times where it was otherwise hell on earth with my struggles of addiction. I've actually ended up becoming a worship leader, I've been blessed enough to lead worship in several large churches in my city, and my testimony has helped lead many others to the Lord. I still continue to tune into your episodes almost daily, repeats and all, just to be around the family that took me in but never knew. I get emotional even thinking about how much you all have helped me, and how God has worked on me through you guys. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all. - Steven Anderson

I told him he has to start at episode 1 and watch all, I'm going to give me a little test to see what he learned. I've tried so many ways to get him to listen, he hunts he fishes, so let's see what happens.

Yes, it is not only a possibility, but it will be life and eternity changing. Baptism itself is not what saves us, it is an outward sign of what Jesus has done in us. The key is the repent and surrender to Jesus part of what you said, then following with being baptized. God bless you as you do this!!! Very awesome! :)

Baptism is absolutely necessary for salvation. Every conversation in the new testament started with hearing and ended with baptism. Jesus commanded baptism in Matthew 28 Peter showed that baptism was for the forgiveness of sins in acts 2. 1 Peter 3:21 says that baptism now saves us. The only time that the phrase "faith alone" is used in the bible it is preceded by the word "not" in James 2:24. How to get into Christ: Faith- Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God Belief John 8:24 "... if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” Repentance - Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish Confession - Mathew 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven Baptized - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Live faithfully - Revelation 2:10 Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

@Patriot America Jg You are mistaken Sir. Nothing alone saves man from his sins. Not belief, not repentance, not grace, not confessing Christ, and not baptism. It is all these things working together that saves a person. You will notice, that in the following verses each of these things are said to save a man... Hearing the word of God: Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith: Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that...boast Repentance: 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. Confession: Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved Baptism: 1 Peter 3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us-baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Living faithfully: God said that if "we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 If you want to say that one thing alone saves a man, you will be hard pressed to make a case unless you ignore scripture. Baptism is mentioned over 100 times in the NT. Every case of conversion in the book of Acts started with hearing, and ended with baptism. Check for your self (Acts Chapters 2,8,9,10,16,18) Jesus said in Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. ...and in Matthew 28:19 ..."go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

You've often discussed on the podcast about why your shows podcasts and family appeals to so many. As For me you see, it reminds me of home. I'm the same age as Jase and was raised in a conservative christian home among the farm fields and woods of Indiana. Hunting and fishing was always in our schedule along with hard work. Phil reminds me very much of my dad when I was growing up. He has since passed on as has many others in our family but watching and listening to your shows and podcasts give us a few moments of something that is largly absent in America today. God, Love & Family.

They sent me home after my open heart surgery, with 6 pharmaceuticals that they told me, "You'll be on these the rest of your life". I met with a Bio-Chemist friend the week I got home. He told me, if you'll eat right and exercise, you'll be healthier than on those pills". I haven't taken anything but occasional Aspirin for 2 years, next month! I have ZERO health problems, and I feel GREAT... Not to mention I'm not spending LOTS of money to be LESS healthy! The Hospital gave me a THREE PAGE list of things NOT to eat, because it would fight with the medicine. MOST green vegetables and many other very healthy things were on that list. My friend read that and said, NO! I listened to him, and I thank God I did!

@Grizzly Bear YES! You're correct! I'm just assuming the older Robertson's haven't been exposed much to the other type of Steroids...Lol! I'm sure their younger generation know EXACTLY the difference! Not saying they've used any at all. Just that most yonger generations "know" about illicit drugs.... I'm 45 in my teens I know alot about illicit/illegal drug use but my grandmother wouldn't have know anything about it! Lol!

Michael McIntosh that’s obvious to help the healing process however corticosteroids arrest the aggressive effects of our bodies healing process. They lower inflammation thereby lessening scarring and the effects of large granuloma scarring. That’s why they make you feel better because they “lower” inflammation. As in MS and many other aggressive inflammatory conditions. Of course they can help but when discussing with the robertsons conversation they were using the terms like apple and oranges. They aren’t the same thing.

Jase, you need some bag balm for your hands--- and once they are healed up, use Cera Be moisturizing cream to keep soft and healed. Recommended by my dermatologist, along with a prescription steroid ointment twice a day ( use very small amount), and the Cera Ve frequently during the day. No odor, not greasy. I do these because of old scars of cracks on fingertips from many years of washing hands while working as nurse for 41 years.

A major point I'd like to make... My brother died yesterday. He came to know the Lord 8 months ago. We are ALL going to die... REALLY die! So our relationship with God through Christ had better be ABSOLUTELY as REAL! Religion has NOTHING to do with REALITY... In fact, it usually just gets in the way. I wrote a book after my heart attack, and after 2 months of "WHAT am I going to title this, it came to me clearly. "Why Religion Is NOT Reality". My brother read it and got Saved. Praise God!!! If that's all that ever comes from it, it did all I could EVER hope for! I appreciate, beyond words the REALITY I hear in ALL of your relationships with Jesus Christ! I look forward to meeting you on the other side. (I'll introduce you to my brother.)

A powerful study habit is to read a verse as many times as it has words, and emphasize a different word each time. Ex: John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So read it as: IN the beginning was the Word..." Then, read it as "In THE beginning..." Then as, "In the BEGINNING...." It has a way of REALLY drilling in the FULL meaning of the verse. It's pretty amazing and powerful.

Matthew 24:36 is a good topic to clarify why Jesus is God-incarnate while proclaiming that only God knows the day or hour. How can Jesus proclaim this when He is God? Thank you in advance.

The way I understand this, is that Jesus is part of the Godhead...One of three with the Holy Spirit. They have different roles. I guess this is one of those facts laid out in scripture that we have to accept. Apparently God the father is the only one that knows when the last day will be. This scripture in its context is talking about being prepared, and that is the point that is being presented. No one knows the day of his returning, so we better be on our best behavior and make sure we have taken the proper steps to salvation.

You guys know that 90% of the people hear claiming to be Christians who were taught in a community church that baptism does not save or that they are told to say the sinners prayer and that’s when you receive the Holy Spirit. Some churches teach that water baptism is not for the remission of sins. I really hope that those people who fall into that 90% category find the need for water baptism to be put into Christ- something of which you guys neither mentioned. We need to be in Christ. What puts us into Christ - baptism. It is then up to the individual to rejoice and call upon the Lord’s name in all their days, working out their own salvation with fear and trepidation. Then there are those in the COC who say baptism is merely a tradition that we follow. Then there’s the orthodox prespitarian group that goes into some circumcised rant where there sprinkle babies- similar to the Catholics. Who’s right and whose wrong? The Bible is so clear about the function of baptism that it’s not even funny. Just because your baptized doesn’t mean you can’t fall prey to your old self and have your name removed from the book of Life. I’m proud of you guys for taking a bold stand on baptism. There are so many people being mislead by these mega churches all the way down to the small baptist church that follows the Gospel according to billy graham- who taught the sinners prayer and not water baptism. The same baptist church that has an earthly headquarters which every so often feels the need to decide what is and not valid in scripture .

Phil and his family are Hollywood famous now so they have to play by Its rules. When you hear them talk about baptism they are very careful not to say the wrong thing - especially that Al dude - his liberal progressive leanings shows thru the cloak screen He puts up. He’s a progressive in sheep’s clothing. He plays the “conservativeI” role well in public, but his views on the Church- from what I watch on YT , are progressive in nature. I double dog dare any of them to research how liberal progressive Pepperdine is. Their annual lectureship is a progressive wet dream. They support homosexuality as a natural act between two people. They push for anything that God has deemed unnatural. They push for women to hold positions of authority over men- which is not scriptural. They push the social justice warrior derangement syndrome. They push for whatever came about from the Jubilee meeting that took place back in the late 80’s.

@@Thomas8892Q I did notice they seemed to dance around the obvious biblical teaching about the subject. I do believe the Robertson's have a very liberal view of Christianity. I like their boldness, but wish it was more rooted in plain biblical truth. It would have been easy for them to go to John chapter 3 and talk about those born of the water and the spirit if you wanted to stay in the book of John. Better yet, start with what Jesus said in Matthew 28 and Mark 16. Then show Peter and the apostles carrying out those instructions in Acts 2.

Dave Tenney this is what I don’t get: what’s happening to this great country of ours is happening in the Lord’s Church today (changing into the image of the world) . But we don’t see Phil showing concern over the state of the church. We see them rubbing elbows with the World and the political elites whom have no forbearance on the Lord’s Church. I was naive at first when I read Phil’s books - thinking He was a solid man in the Lords church. Phil is quick to point fingers at what’s wrong or negatively affecting our country, but not what’s being done to the church by the progressives - the same progressives who are leading this country into a lake of fire. The same progressives who say baptism is merely a public acknowledgement of their already received (saved status) thru some sort of quasi-moto sinners prayer- go figure. I have to be honest, I stopped going to church and have no plans to ever go back to a brick and mortar church again. The modern day pulpit has become dangerous as a double edged sword for satan to deceive innocent ears.

@@Thomas8892Q Friend, it is easy to get discouraged when so many seem to be in opposition to what is true. I would encourage you to not give up hope. Your good influence can help others and it can't work unless you are around other Christians. We are commanded to assemble, and it is our duty to carry this out. There are still those out there that want to do the lords will...I always think about Elijah when he thought he was the only one left who feared God in 1 Kings 19.
