Fun fact, among the whole series, there is only one instant where you can let a Wurmple that you know it will evolve into Silcoon, evolve into Cascoon instead regardless of its personality value. Give that Wurmple to Beauregard in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Any Wurnple given to him will be hard coded to evolve into Cascoon regardless of its personality value.

I had to look up the differences between the water egg groups after it was mentioned: Water 2 contains fish (and Inkay/Malamar), Water 3 has invertebrates, Water 1 is filled with just about everything else that lives in water, mostly semi-aquatic mons.

Obtainable legitimately. A lot of items are present in the code from previous games. Like for example BDSP has items like the DNA Splicers in the code. I think you can catch a Delkatty or Skitty in something like ORAS if you hack in a moon ball because they are present in the game due to transfers from HGSS. I'm not sure how they function though. Could be wrong on that though. I do know moon balls are in games they're unobtainable in though.

Another fun fact about clampearl is that if it is holding the deepseatooth, it's special attack stat is slightly higher than Mega Alakazams. Fun fact about Crawdaunt's catch rate is it's the lowest any pokemon's catch rate can be before a quick ball is not a 100% chance to capture (gen 5 and after). The next closest is 150 (such as roselia and clefairy) which give a 98% chance.

Small mistake on Altaria: You mentioned Swalot and not Swablu as its pre-evo Roselia technically isnt the only pokemon to get a pre-evo and evo in a separte gen. Electibuzz and magmar did too. Super fun Azurill fun fact: it can have its gender change upon evolution to marill

Roselia isn't the only Pokemon to recieve a pre-evolution and evolution outside the Gen it debut in. Chansey, Electabuzz and Magmar both received pre-evolutions and evolutions in Gens 2 and 4.

A different fun fact for the Manectric fans out there: In Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness & Battle Revolution, Shiny Manectric has a blue tongue/mouth These days it's pink like regular Manectric's Also funky stuff, in the anime, James & Meowth at one point went against Jesse, helping an Electrike learn to control its electric moves, and as it evolved it was able to control the direction of its moves so well they could be made to do 90 degree angel turns. James & Meowth also willingly destroyed Jesse to further help the Manectric to stop her villainy of the episode And in the anime, Kalosian Officer Jenny have Manectric as their partner pokemon

Me: Oh boy, a pokemon fact video on every pokemon in gen 3! Can't wait to see what will be said about my all time favourite pokemon, Mawile! Will it be a mention about how in the original ruby & sapphire, it acted as a version exclusive counter to Sableye, Mawile only appearing in Ruby in the same places Sableye only appears in Sapphire? Maybe it'll be the fact that in one of its early pokedex entries, its name was misspelled as 'Mawhile'? Perhaps it'll be the fact that it was the only pure steel type before generation 6 to be given the fairy typing? That Mega Mawile is the only Mega evolution to get the ability 'Huge Power'? Or maybe it'll be the fact that it's likely based on the yokai in Japanese legend referred to as the futakuchi-onna, a woman with a second mouth in the back of her head- The video: The fact that its footprint is different from gen 3 to gen 4 said in such a small amount of time without even showing Mawile that I originally thought Mawile was skipped over entirely before combing through the video just to make sure. So this is a Mawile appreciation comment, as well as me still sending appreciation for continuing to put these videos together and teaching us fun facts about pokemon: the series, the anime, the trading card game, the video games, and each individual pokemon out there! I understand these videos take a lot to put together, and as someone who craves knowledge in the form of fun little trivia facts, I appreciate them a lot! Manectric fact was quite bad. It can learn ice fang as egg move from different pokemon too (like mightyena) and there is nothing wierd about it. I get that it is hard to tell an interesting fact about every pokemon, therefore I bring here a slightly more interesting one: "Mega Manectric is the only pokemon with base stat total of 575"

The way I've heard the Water Egg Groups described isn't Fresh Water/Salt Water, but rather "Aquatic Mammals, Amphibians and Reptiles" for Water 1, "Actual Fish" for Water 2, and "Aquatic invertibrates" for water 3. So Squirtle and seel fit into water 1, Goldeen and magikarp into Water 2, and tentacool, omanyte, and kabutops into water 3. Or at least, that may have been the original intent. Because Wailmer is in the fish egg group, horsea is not considered a fish, every cephalopod seems to be treated differently, fucking *archeops* is in water 3 with a bunch of invertibrates, and now I've gone cross-eyed trying to wrap my brain around the logic of any of this.
