Honestly, I don't think their actual "sound" changed all that much. Nate is still writing fantastic songs, and really the difference is on the record. It was produced by Jeff Bhasker, so it sounded like a hip hop record, and that's what we expected to hear live, so we kind of did, even though they still sound indie-pop(ish) Listen to this version of All Alone and tell me it would have been totally out of place on Aim & Ignite. Didn't think so.
