One For The Books

One For The Books is a new local literary series like no other and you’re invited. Traci Thomas (she/her), creator and host of The Stacks podcast is the bookish best friend you’ve been looking for. She and her guests will share their hot takes on the written word-novels, nonfiction, screenplays, it’s all fair game. We’ll have trivia, rants and raves, author interviews, and maybe even a little gossip.
Our first-ever One for the Books is on November 16. Traci will be talking about how we read and how we should be talking about what we read with guest Sam Sanders (he/him), the host of Vulture’s Into It podcast and Danyel Smith (she/her), former editor-in-chief Vibe magazine and author of Shine Bright: A Very Personal History of Black Women in Pop. And since this isn’t your momma’s book club, there’s no required reading.
