The song is one that I listened to and dedicated to the loss of my best friend, my childhood dog of 15 years. It's now going on 30 years that he's been gone. I still cry each time I listen to it or hear it on the radio. This week unfortunately my youngest son's (25 yrs old) dog of 13 years has to be put to sleep. I lost track of a good number of my childhood friends,i suppose that’s normal, interests change,we move on geographically, work demands, relationships,it goes on and on. I’ve lived more than half my life outside my home country (Australia) managed to keep it touch with some of my best friends but I’m shocked by how many are no longer with us. At 66 years of age, my advice is to keep and treasure the friends you have,nothing in life is certain,,,,we never know how long we have,never miss an opportunity to tell your friends how much you love and appreciate them. 4/28/24 My 73 rd Birthday. This is dedicated to my Life Long Best friend JOHN. I met for the first time we were still in diapers. 70 yrs we were Best friends. Well we buried JOHN Yesterday. I miss my bestfriend...I was grade 2 when I met him and he was grade 3 before I became grade 3 he was always telling me "sorry...Mamimiss kita" and I dont know why...He also asked me "anong gagawin mo pag nawala ako?" and I always dont know what to answer...He's an american citizen and I never thought na dadating yung araw na aalis siya...nung grade 3 na ako nalaman ko na umalis na pala sila ng family niya papuntang US...we were partners in crime and like pranking others but we know our limits and we always prioritize our studies...we study together and scolded together though we are both top in our class...super makulit kami I am now in highschool grade 7 at the highest section but it just doesnt feel the same without him...I always liked him but never got a chance to tell him about my feelings...alam kong nakalimutan niya na ako...years have passed remember? And they even changed his facebook and number...our pictures together were all lost and now all I have is our memories He was always there for me and comfort me...we always got each others back...were both well known in our school But then again it doesnt feel the same without him...I really miss him...his name is Ethan
